Average could do better. Had to buy washing line as clothes horse provided was old and rusty. To be fair the owner was fine when contacted .The fault lies with the cleaners whose standards leave a lot to be desired. .

“Superb choice”

I enjoyed a very relaxing stay at Roda Golf. The apartment is on the first phase of this large development and as such is within easy reach of all the facilities. The view from the balcony and the roof terrace is excellent in that you really feel part of Spain; overlooking the lush lemon trees, golf course and in the distance the sea. We enjoyed being able to relax in the sunshine from breakfast on the balcony to capturing sunset with a pre-dinner glass of wine of the superb roof terrace. The apartment is very well equiped and suited our needs perfectly. The surrounding area is lovely and as we like to walk enjoyed walking along the very lengthy promenade making use of the many tapasbars/restaurants along the front.

“Lovely apartment on a great complex”

This a very nice apartment with good views on Roda Golf. Roda offers something for everyone and I have visited many times. I would reccommend staying on phase one as it is close to he clubhouse etc.

“Excellent value for money apartment with all the home comforts and private roof top terrace with lounge beds”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2011

Roda Golf Complex is located within walking distance of local shops (including Lidl), restaurants and the beach. The complex also has access to Private Beach Club. Unfortunately we did not visit this so unable to comment. The Club House (open until 11.30pm) provides free wi-fi access for anyone taking their own laptops as well as being able to enjoy food and drink. There is also a reception located near entrance gate where a range of DVDs are available for hire for 2 Euros per night (3 Euros deposit also required which is refunded upon return). There are 2 swimming pools located either side of the apartment block. The apartment has all the home comforts including air conditioning, Sky TV, DVD player, washing machine, iron and ironing board, clothes horse, patio furniture/parasol, beach chairs and lounge beds. The apartment has en-suite bathroom and separate shower room. Kitchen facilities also included a Microwave. 1 bath and hand towel supplied per person for the duration of your stay (therefore washing machine comes in handy to keep these clean). Would definitely recommend hire of beach towels (10 Euros per week) to save carrying in luggage - you will need these to cover lounge beds on roof top. The owner's PA maintained excellent communication with us and was very helpful. We had great weather during our 2 week stay with only a couple of days overcast. We hired a car which came in handy to transport shopping to the apartment (20 mins walk away from the apartment although there is a small shop on the complex). Overall, apartment facilities were excellent and definitely value for money. The roof top terrace is definitely a bonus with this property.

“Lovely penthouse apartment, great value for money”

Reviewed 21 Jul 2011

The apartment is spacious and well-equipped with particularly good air-conditioning. Pool is fine, not a golfer so can't comment on that side of things. Club Hous eis nice but found quality of food better in town. Car essential as complex is a bit out of town. Two good supermarkets within a five minute drive. Some nice restaurants in Los Alcazares which is about a 25 minute walk from the complex. Recommend using taxis at night. Local beaches get very busy with spanish tourists in high season so get there early. Mud baths at Lo Pagan worth a visit. Avoid the Beach Club at La Manga, overpriced food and drink and the complex needs a bit of TLC.
