This 3 bedroomed, home from home, Spanish Townhouse in Los Alcazares is perfectly located and is the ideal holiday rental for the family who like to relax and unwind in the sun. The house is set in the Albatros Complex which is a lovely secure gated community with beautiful gardens and pool area. The house is South West facing on the quiet outer perimeter of the complex with the pool a mere 20 second walk away. The accommodation has ample room for a family set over three floors and has free wifi as well as air-conditioning throughout on a metered service.

The ground floor comprises of a spacious living area with a large corner leather sofa, dining table, satellite TV and DVD. The living area leads to a separate fully equipped kitchen which has an array of electrical items including a washing machine. Additionally, there is a bedroom with a comfortable double sofa bed and a free standing wardrobe. A separate toilet with a sink and unit is also conveniently located off the living area.

A set of beautiful marble stairs with secure railings leads to the first floor where there are a further two bedrooms and family bathroom. The master bedroom has a good quality double bed, fully fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and a TV. The second bedroom has two single beds, fully fitted wardrobes and a safe for use by guests. The family bathroom is fully tiled with a full size bath, a separate shower cubicle, a marble sink and unit.

The roof top solarium is accessed by a further set of marble stairs from the first floor. The roof solarium is private and walled with a shower to cool you down and a pergola for shade. It also has two sun loungers and a table and chairs.

The Townhouse is located in a quiet location with the main pedestrianised precinct being a five minute walk away from the house. Here you will find a wide range of shops, bars and a variety of restaurants that will meet all culinary tastes. Three large supermarkets are also within close proximity. There is a street market held every Tuesday morning in Los Alcazares and every Saturday morning in Los Narejos which is short walk away. For these who enjoy a round of golf there are the two golf courses of La Serena and Roda which are both a five minute drive away.

Los Alcazares has a beautiful coast line with over 7km of sandy beaches which give direct access to the warm waters of the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor is always 3 to 4 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean and its shallow waters make it perfect for bathing. The area also enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year. Parallel to these beaches and running the entire length of the town is the extremely flat and long promenade which is great for walking in a relaxing atmosphere. The beautiful picturesque and blue flag beach is only a ten minute stroll away from the house.

“A Lovely House which is like a home”

This is a lovely property which has been very thoughtfully equipped with lots of charming touches which are unusual in a rented house. It has everything one might need and the owners and their very helpful agent had left a number of unexpected gifts and provisions, including wine, milk, coffee, tea, sugar as well as cleaning materials. It is air conditioned in the main lounge, bathroom and two bedrooms - a must in the summer heat. It is located on a very attractive gated complex surrounding a large pool and a five minute walk from the main strip of Los Alcazares. The beach is a further five minutes or so away. The house is on the outside of the complex so is very quiet. Los Alcazares is a delightful resort. It is more Spanish than many of the Costa Blanca resorts though there are a number of UK and other tourists. The main strip of restaurants and shops is very attractive and is full of atmosphere. There are a number of sandy beaches with beach side cafes and restaurants which we found really friendly. Murcia airport is less than 10 minutes away by taxi. I would definitely recommend this lovely house and Los Alcazares. We had an excellent nine night stay and would love to return.
