This apartment has 2 bedrooms, a lounge,kitchen with fitted units,and a fully tiled bathroom and shower.The roof terrace and balcony face SOUTH and overlook the swimming pool.The PRIVATE ROOF TERRACE has reclining sun beds,outdoor table tennis,Patio table and chairs,it also has a very convienent SHOWER attachment for fresh running water for those that worship the hot sun! Fully equipped with hot & cold aircon, TV,LCD TV,DVD,Music system and an X BOX to keep the kids quiet!The swimming pool is communal and has a separate children's splash pool surrounded by greenery,trees, shrubs,seating area and fountains.The whole complex is secure and has underground car parking with electric gates.The Complex is excellent for young children knowing that they will always be safe within the secure area.The apartment block has 2 fully functional lifts which service all floors.My apartment is in position "A" within the block,overlooking the pool.If a CHILLOUT holiday is all you want,You

NOTE: LOCATION LOCATION, counts for a lot,my apartment is 10mins walk to the beach,if the other apartments etc which are advertised on the Holidaylettings web site are on the Roda development, be warned ,they are at least a 20 minute walk to the beach and they are located to the north side of the AP-7,north of Los Alcazares!You've seen the rest,now pick the best!!My apartment is one of the largest in the complex and with its added bonus of having a private roof top terrace with complete privacy and south facing, giving you the sun all day,its not to be missed.WHY RENT MY APARTMENT?Well, the answer to that question is simple!1) Location to the beach/shops/ banks/Restaurants/town hall etc etc.2) Square metre of apartment is 82m2!3) Roof top terrace is 52m2. Perfect for sun worshipers and all round privacy with outdoor shower!4) Open plan Kitchen/lounge5) Wide screen TV with english channels and an X box for the kids and dads!6) Secure complex which is safe for the children7) Air con is a must in the summer months and yes we have it!8) You don't need a car,although we do have an allocated secure underground parking space if needed.9) We have an agent (HENK & MARISKA) who are on call 24/7 to help you with any issues you may have during your stay.10) The apartment is south facing over the complex and looks directly over the pool and garden.Remember: If your renting on the Roda development,make sure you hire a car,because there is no way you will be walking to the beach and back with the family in the summer months from the Roda development!Unless youv'e got a car,bikes or skateboards!!The Roda is situated on the North side of the AP-7,check it out on GOOGLE EARTH!Please note:Smoking only allowed on Balcony & Roof Terrace

To the Southeast of the Province of Murcia in Spain, there is a large expanse of salt water called the Mar Menor. An enormous lagoon, approximately 26 km long and 7 km wide, famous for it's warm, tranquil and salty water, rich in health giving minerals. The town is well connected to the recently upgraded Spanish motorway network and there are regular flights from and to many European cities to Murcia/San Javier International Airport which is only five minutes drive away. Alicante airport offers even more flights, and is just an hour away. 30 km to the northwest can be found the historic city of Murcia, the region's administrative centre. 15 km to the southwest lies Cartagena, a delightful Roman port city which has recently been revitalized. The Region of Murcia region
The Costa Calida delights in 320 days of sunshine each year and even in the winter the temperature rarely drops below 15'C.The stress free way of life,dry climate and area's natural salt lakes.To the Southeast of the Province of Murcia in Spain, there is a large expanse of salt water called the Mar Menor. An enormous lagoon, approximately 26 km long and 7 km wide, famous for it's warm, tranquil and salty water, rich in health giving minerals.
The area is steeped in history and dates back to the Roman and Arabic times.
The Costa Calida beaches and the Mar Menor have been awarded the European blue flag for pollution free bathing.
The name Los Alcazares has Arabic origin meaning palace or stately house,this was due to the Arabs choosing the area for vacations.
Cartagena is an old naval city steeped in history,along with many designer shops and tappas bars,well worth the visit for a day out and only 20mins drive away.
Murcia is the city 40mins north of LA and again is well worth the visit for its history, designer shops and tappas bars.
Los Alcazares is an authentic Spanish town with a beautiful promenade, lined with palm trees, running the length of the town. There are tappas bars and restaurants along the promenade and various points of interest on the way, it is a great place for walkers and cyclists. You will never be at loss for a place to eat and the restaurants are plentiful and diverse.
If Golf is your game then look no further,there are over 10 golf courses within a 5 mile radius!
My pick of the bunch would have to be Las Ramblas,a hidden gem,only 20mins drive from LA.
Sailing/Windsurfing is very popular in the Mar Menor due to the shallow warm waters and there are many local sailing clubs dotted along the Mar Menor coast line.
There are several festival held in the town each year, the most notable is the Water Festival in October, which the whole town attends, this consists of wind surfing races, barbecues, music and spectacular firework displays.

“Perfect holiday just what we needed”
We spent 6 days in Residential Albatros and it was perfect. The apartment was home from home with everything we needed. It was very clean modern and spacious. The location was excellent within walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants and shops. The people were very friendly. If your looking for a quite relaxing vacation away from the day to day stress then this is the place for you. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to my family and friends.

My wife and I stayed for almost 3 weeks back in February this year as we wanted some winter sun. The Albatros block is well located away from the noisy roads but only a short 5 mins walk to the beach bars and restaurants. We had a great stay and will certainly consider coming back here soon

Fantastic apartment, great for families, a nice quiet complex with very friendly people. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Owner even left us ice lolly she in the freezer!

“Cannot fault anything. SUPERB”
I travelled with my wife and 2 teenage daughters. This was our first time in Los Alcazares. From the initial booking of the apartment, Richards communication was excellent, everything was done profesionally and in a timely mannner. On arrival at San Javier airport we phoned our contact (Henk), he was at the airport within 10 minutes to collect us and transfer us to the apartment. Very knowledgeable person of the area and gave us some good places to visit and places to eat. On arrival at the apartment we were shown how to use the aircon (which was required while we were there, 38*C most days) and also shown where other things were. The apartment is spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the pool, then up the stairs from the balcony is the roof terrace, lovely place to top up the tan, or have a drink while the sunsets. The table tennis table is a great addition (many a good game played), the sunbeds are very comfortable and the outdoor shower is brilliant to cool off. The apartment is excellently located for the main strip (5 minutes walk) and the beach (10 minutes walk). I would definately recommend this apartment if you are looking for a great location and comfort. Los Alcazares is a lovely town with a brilliant Beach, great Restaurants and Bars for all, and great value for money. Thankyou Ritchie for the great time my family and I had, we will be back.

“Helpful owner, lovely apartment, great location and value”
We stayed with our 3 children aged 1, 4 and 6 and were very pleased with our choice. The comminication with Richie (the owner) was really good and he thought of everything and his agents Henk and Mariska were equally as helpful on arrival and throughout the stay. You dont need a car as everything is within easy walking distance and if you fancy the odd day trip Henk will drive you there and back for a small fee. The beach is huge and very safe as shallow for a long way out and the pool was always clean if not a little cold, but you soon get used to it! One tip would be to go for a welcome hamper if you land on a Sunday as the local Mercadona is shut! Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and the apartment had everthing we could wish for. Highly recommended to all.

Apartment was spacious and clean as were the grounds. 5 minute stroll to the plaza and 10 minutes to the beach. The pool has a lifegaurd and there is no jumping, splashing, diving or playing in or around the pool. My children aged 14 & 9 were disappointed by this. It is a swim only pool. Apart from this we had a great time. Will be back next summer.

“Amazing apartment, great location”
We stayed here as our first holiday with our 18 month old toddler. Before we left, the communication and helpfness of the owner was excellent. When we got the airport we phoned the man who looks after the apartment and he was there to pick us up within 10 minutes. We were over the moon with it, it was very clean and modern had two good sized bedrooms with blackout blinds (great for our toddler to sleep), a kitchen with everything you could need in it, big sofa in the lounge area and a flat screen tv with uk tv stations, a dvd player and some sort of computer thing (dont know which one it was) a lovely bathroom with a shower and bath and a large private roof terrace. security was excellent too. The owner and the couple who look after the apartment were on the end of the phone if ever we needed them, even sorting out a pushchair for us to hire within a couple of hours as we forgot ours and decided we couldn't cope without it. Its in a great location a few minutes walk to the plaza with shops, supermarket and restaraunts and about 5 minutes to the lovely beach. It was quiet at night, we couldn't hear any noise from the other apartments and the pool was clean and in a great spot for the sun, there were lots of families staying at the apartments which is great for kids. Overall the stay was perfect and I would definitely recommend this apartment and the place. We will be returning.

“.................... could only fault the weather !”
We have stayed in Los Alcazares before (in fact round the corner in the Pueble Patricia Dev) and can hensetly say that this apartment and complex is miles nicer ! The apt is modern and nicely laid out - the roof terrace is an added bonus for sunbathing and evening alk fresco meals - plus not a bad view. Unfortuantely we only really had a couple of glorious days in our weeks stay - the other days were either overcast or windy. Needless to say the weather has nothing to do with the apt !!!! We had a hire car as were flew into Alicante (rather than San Javier) - only for more availability and better times of flights. We usually come into San Javier and then you realy don't need a car. The Mercodona and Bars/Restaurants are literally a ten minute amble away - and the beach about the same (maybe 15 mins depending on what route you take) If you head towards Ave de La Libertad (and cross it) and go down Calle del Rio Taibilla and then down Calle Palemeras-8 you will end up at the beach and in front of a very nice and friendly bar/car called Jonnys Cafe (great chicken salad wrap!) Anyway back to the apt - the local agents Henk and Marissa met us on arrival and were available on call if needed. Alos very nice swimming pool (and big) just a bit cold in early May when the weather hadn't been great ! Al in all a very nice place to stay - and I would recommend this if planning on staying in Los Alcazares ...................

“Really nice apartment,great location,very pleased with our choice!”
Right from day 1 with the booking admin,the owners were very prompt and helpful. The apartment is in a great location and although the area was generally very quite,this was because the time of year,being February Apartment has all the mod cons you would expect. The area is awash with golf courses,which was one of the reasons why we picked this area. All in all very happy,see you latter in the year!!

“Excellent accommodation & location”
We have visited Richie Gorings apartment for several years now and have always found it in immaculate condition. The location is 5 mins away from supermarkets, numerous restaurants and bars in Los Alcazares and a further 5 mins to the beautiful beach. Being only a short journey from the airport means you can start your holiday immediately. These are the reasons we keep returning year after year and will continue to do so, cant thank Richie enough for the excellent service and for allowing us to holiday in his apartment
