Description

Beautiful spacious holiday home / chalet with large garden in Oud-Loosdrecht near the Loosdrecht Lakes with it's gorgeous scenery. Close to the cities of Amsterdam and Utrecht.

The holiday home is lovely and spacious and has an abundance of light! As soon as the sun's out, you will find yourself bathing in sunlight. It is truly a peaceful place where you can relax and have a comfortable and good time.

House plan:

- Large living (with sofa bed - sleeps 2 grownups please indicate the number of guests for proper bed linens etc) / dining area

- Spacious fitted kitchen with all necessary amenities

- Comfortable master bedroom (king size bed - sleep 2 grownups)

- En suite bathroom

- Small children's bedroom (kids bed - sleeps 1 child)

- Huge private garden

- Green surroundings

- Water sports in the area: swimming, sailing, canoeing etc.

- Schiphol Airport app. 30 minutes away

SURROUNDINGS:

The chalet is situated in beautiful green surroundings, the Vecht and Lakes area with the river The Vecht, forests, heath and beautiful estates. The Loosdrecht Lakes are part of this area and offer something to enjoy for everyone.

There are great sights to see: the Muiderslot, castle Nijenrode, the castle village of Oud-Zuilen, slot Zuylen and the rather idyllic Vecht villages.

The lakes offer all possibilities of entertainment on and by the water: from swimming to sailing to water skiing or enjoying a drink on one of the terrases. The holiday maker who truly seeks rest can even visit a few secluded sceneries which can only be reached by canoe or rowing boat. The romantic Vecht, with it's stately country houses and castles is the main decor for many lovely boat or bike trips.

There are some excellent restaurants within app. 3 km's, both by the lakes and by the river the Vecht. Here is where you find the Drechthouse, which is always a place to enjoy both a beautiful view and wonderful dishes.

In short, if you love to enjoy the good things in life, this is truly paradise.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

Public transportation is nearby: the bus that stops in front of the park will take you to Hilversum or (with a transfer) to Amsterdam or Breukelen from where you'll be in Utrecht within no time.

The park supermarket is open from April until September. The nearest regular supermarket is situated in the village of Loenen, within 2 kilometers from the chalet.

The airport is less than half an hour by car and app. an hour by public transport. Pick up and drop off is of course possible on request.

Free parking on the plot.

HOUSE RULES:

We welcome pets and truly appreciate you sharing a bit of information about the amount of pets and their size so we can estimate your convenience in the house.

Smoking in the house is strictly forbidden.

We expect our guests to behave properly and keep things decent.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in is normally 15:00 hrs. and check-out before 12:00 (midday). This is to allow us to clean the house in time for our next guests. If possible, we will of course look to see if we can offer you a late check-out.

Late night check-in (after 21:00 hrs) will require approval.

“A very nice relaxing stay”

A very nice little chalet, south facing so lots of sunshine if you want to relax. Bedroom, bathroom and lounge- kitchen area very clean and airy. I would definitely recommend it for a couple but not more. The site is very nice and everyone very friendly but the advertised unheated swimming pool appeared be to a muddy pond. The on-site restaurant is well worth a visit. Easy access to all areas Amsterdam, utrecht ect. only 30 mins drive away but park and ride which you should use as it is very good can be a bit tricky to find. My wife and I really had a relaxing holiday.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
