Description

Riverbella is a newly furnished, cosy, two-bedroom apartment, sleeping 4-5 people. Situated in East Looe, Shutta, 200 yards from the picturesque river and just over five minutes walk into town and ten minutes to the beach.

A comfortable lounge with dining for four people (free WiFi) looks out towards a lofty, large private sun deck area allowing alfresco dining with spectacular views down to the river and towards Looe, across to West Looe, the harbour and up river to the surrounding countryside.

Leading off the rear of the lounge is a newly fitted, fully equipped kitchen, including oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, and full range of kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery.

The main bedroom has a generous king-size bed and bedside cabinets, a full height wardrobe with hanging space, and a comfortable two-seater sofa. Views from this room are out towards the valley of Shutta. The second bedroom offers either a twin set-up, or a generous double, a large walk-in-wardrobe and a dressing table. Views are out to the river, Millpool, woodland and sun deck.

One bathroom offers hot showers on-demand, and baths via a hot-water tank.

There is one allocated car park space in the Berkeley Court parking area for No.3 Riverbella.

There is a private decking area for you to sit and enjoy the stunning view down to the river and across to Looe. You will find a large seating area for alfresco dining, two comfy recliner chairs, a swing-seat for two, and a box containing all the cushions you'll require.

Disposable BBQ's are used at Riverbella, and are placed on the metal fold out table on two bricks. Please ensure you take all your rubbish with you when you depart.

Part of the charm and character of Looe is that the majority of properties are built on the hillside, and although the apartment is ground floor, the access from the car park space is via some steps (69), therefore, unfortunately, it is not suitable for wheelchair access or for those less mobile. The steps are through the garden and are not steep.

Getting around

A car is not needed for Looe as you are just a five-minute walk into town and add a couple more minutes and you're on the beach. Cafe's, restaurants, bistros and pubs are plentiful as are the many stunning walks (woodland, coastal, cliff, river). Looe Train Station is just one minute walk down the hill which will take you to Liskeard and on. There are also many buses that will drop you in places like Polperro, Plynt, and more. However, if you chose to use your car then the world's your oyster - St Michael's Mount, The Eden Project, The Monkey Sanctuary, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Antony House, Cotehele, Mount Edgcumbe and much more. Don't forget trips out on a boat to Looe (St George's Island) , Polperro or even a glass-bottom boat!!

“Lovely apartment in a fantastic location!”

Spent a lovely, relaxing 5 nights here. Place is well furnished with extremely comfortable beds and has everything you could need. Everything is in walking distance - we only used the car once to visit the monkey sanctuary (10 min drive away). Plenty to fill your time with as well as spending time relaxing in the apartment -was particularly nice to sit and enjoy our meals outside. Kirsten was very helpful in answering any questions we had as well as making our arrival very easy. Would highly recommend a stay here!

How do damage deposits work?
