Description

Bank House is a grade II listed property in the centre of the Peak District village of Longnor. Ideally situated for walking in the Peak District, just 6 miles from Buxton and 10 miles from Bakewell. The property is accessed by the ground floor and this floor encompasses a cosy sitting room with beams, log burning stove and central heating. Through double doors into the kitchen, again with beams, stove, microwave, dishwasher and all the utensils you will need for a short stay in the Peak District. Through the kitchen is a doorway to the rear enclosed yard.

The second floor is located up a flight of stairs from the hallway and comprises of a double bedroom, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a family bathroom. All centrally heated.

This apartment has the feel of a cottage, but is in fact the 2 lower floors of a 3 storey building in the centre of Longnor. The top floor has been converted into another self contained apartment, sleeping 2, available by separate let if required. Please get in touch if you wish to accomodate more than 4 people in the 2 properties. Great if gran and grandad are coming for a few days too.

I booked this late for my family, for the price I paid it was excellent value for money. Cheshire cheese pub is a must, superb menu&surroundings. All in all a great week.

How do damage deposits work?

If Karen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
