“The house was perfect for a large family and well equipped.”

Reviewed 21 Apr 2015

We chose The Old Station House for a family get-together. It was perfect - well equipped and comfortable, with plenty of space inside and out. We loved the log burner and ate all our meals round the huge table in the conservatory. Beautiful Suffolk villages and places of interest were within easy reach.

“Spacious, very clean and comfortable home”

Reviewed 25 Oct 2013

We were three mature cousins travelling the UK to meet family and chose the Old Station House because it had 2 bathrooms and the 3 bedrooms required even though it had 5. Just a couple minutes drive into Long Melford and Melford Hall which is a large manor house open to the public it suited our accommodation needs perfectly. It also only took another 7 minutes to get into the old market town of Sudbury where our family lives. Ray and Viv met us at the house to handover the keys and show us around and made us feel most welcome. Highly recommend this property set between Cavendish and Long Melford and hope to stay again on our next trip. Rob - Perth Western Australia
