Outside there is an enclosed garden perfect for children, while the walk to the local pub (about 1.5 miles away) is one of many that can be enjoyed from your front door. A superb holiday property option.

Long Compton

Stepwell is located deep in Cotswolds countryside, in between two attractive villages: Little Compton and Barton on the Heath. The former has a good pub called The Red Lion which is traditional and sells good local ales and food (it's about 1.5 miles away). Another very good pub can be found at Great Wolford The Fox and Hounds, which is particularly good. The locality has a wide range of walks to choose from, which the owner will be very happy to advise on!

Moreton in Marsh is the main 'local' market town with a wide variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and antique shops to choose from. There are also many hotels. Stepwell is also very convenient for Chipping Norton and Stow on the Wold, the two other main towns with shops to visit.

Additionally you really must visit Broadway and Chipping Campden two stunning villages approx 15 mins drive away.

There are a great many local attractions to visit including The Rollright Stones, The Cotswold Farm Park plus a choice selection of National Trust properties, especially the world famous Hidcote Manor Gardens. Otherwise Stratford upon Avon and Warwick Castle are very convenient and easy to visit.
