Description

My place is a quick walk to Stamford Brook tube station, giving you fast and direct access to parts of London on the tube. Westminister and the City is reachable within half an hour, with fun areas like Soho / Chelsea in 20 mins. Chiswick is quintessentially British, hosting plenty of artisan cafes, restaurants, bars, shopping boutiques, fresh fruit and veg stores / markets, private butchers, and the beautiful river side with foot and cycle paths that reach the many pubs and bars along the river.. You’ll love my place because of the location, the people, the ambiance of a small town in a big city.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families with kids.

The England region

London, England’s capital, set on the River Thames, is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times. At its centre stand the imposing Houses of Parliament, the iconic ‘Big Ben’ clock tower and Westminster Abbey, site of British monarch coronations. Across the Thames, the London Eye observation wheel provides panoramic views of the South Bank cultural complex, and the entire city.

London

Chiswick is a district of West London. It is the former residence of the 18th-century English artist William Hogarth, his home Chiswick House is a Neo –Palladian villa regarded as one of the finest in England located in a historic park, as well as Fuller’s Beer Brewery and the famous Sipsmith Gin Distillery. It occupies a meander of the River Thames used for competitive and recreational rowing, with several rowing clubs on the river bank. The finishing post for the Oxford Cambridge Boat Race is just downstream of Chiswick Bridge. Historic figures who lived in Chiswick include the poets Alexander Pope, W.B. Yeats, the Italian revolutionary, Ugo Foscolo, the impressionaist painter Camille Pissarro, and the novelist E.M Forster.

Chiswick's Hogarth Roundabout, the Great West Road from central London converts to the M4 motorway, providing a second mode of transport connection to Heathrow Airport and the M4 corridor, and the WestWay which is the fastest connection to central and east London.
