We offer a beautiful three bedroom house in a picturesque conservation village for self-catering holidays. The house is situated in an excellent location on the Main Street in the heart of the village of Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire. It is ideally placed for local activities and access to other parts of south-west Scotland including Glasgow and the Ayrshire Coast. Whether you're visiting friends, catching up with family or exploring the area, the house is perfect for your stay. The Renfrewshire region

The holiday cottage is in the heart of the pretty conservation village of Lochwinnoch. It's an excellent location for exploring South West Scotland; within 30 minutes of Glasgow, Loch Lomond and the Ayrshire Coast.

Enjoy Scottish hospitality, take in some sightseeing, shop til you drop in Glasgow or Braehead shopping centre, practise your golf at one of the dozens of golf courses nearby, have a go at fishing or just relax and take in the beautiful countryside.

Lochwinnoch

Lochwinnoch can be reached easily by road, train or bus. There is a train station which serves the village (direct link with Glasgow Central, Paisley and Ayr) and by road is only 15 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Timetables are provided in the house to help you to get around.

The cycle track from Glasgow to Irvine runs through the village and so provides easy access to the more energetic visitors who prefer to make their own way. Lochwinnoch Golf Course is an 18 hole course and is within easy walking distance of the house. Castle Semple Loch has a great visitor centre and lots of sporting activities including wind surfing, canoeing and fishing.

The village has lots of good local shops and almost anything which you could need for a holiday can be bought in the village. The local spar shop is only a couple of minutes walk from the house and is very well stocked. The village also has a number of dining options and takeaways if you don't feel like cooking on your holiday.

“Lovely!”

Everything about this was lovely, originally I was going to be met by the lovely owner at the station, but due to a change of plan I was guided there instead. I have to say the house was lovely and beautifully clean. There was a breakfast pack in the kitchen which meant I didn't have to stress finding milk for my kids bedtime drinks etc. there are a few little shops and takeaways so no stress on finding food later either. I would recommend this to anyone.

We rented this house over Christmas and Pat made it so welcoming with Christmas tree and decorations. Excellent location with fabulous pub next door and superb cafe along the street for breakfast/lunch. Very quiet in evenings so perfect for kids to sleep peacefully. The king size bed was super comfy and the ensuite bathroom a bonus with 3 kids in tow. A lovely cosy house to spend 3 weeks holiday in.
