"Peaceful location and perfect home to home"

Sam's house was a brilliant choice. We were a couple with a baby and we found it very baby friendly, cot, toys and highchair was ready for us. It was very warm and clean, an extra small room for the baby would have been ideal but our room was spacious enough for us and the cot. This cottage is ideal for a small family or for a romantic break. Once our baby went to sleep, we enjoyed the outside hot tub looking to the star, it was amazing and very relaxing. everything about the location is relaxing even though we had pretty bad weather, but we were very confi in the cottage. The cottage is simple, with just the necessary furniture which is perfect if you have a toddler, and personally I son't like crowded spaces. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower is great. Perhaps the only thing I would have added is a little welcome pack with a few local products from the area. The location is remote and although there are other cottages close, is very private and you feel you are alone there. If you like walking the walk to the river from the cottage is lovely, and there are plenty of other works and local villages to visit as well as good and simple local food. Overall, in spite the bad weather, it was a great stray, we were there only 2 days but we felt as if we have had a proper Holiday, just because the surroundings are so peaceful. We would like to come back and we will recommend the place.

"A fantastic intimate Scottish getaway!"

Stayed at Sam's Cottage twice - once for our Anniversary & the other two propose! (she said yes by the way!). Though very traditional from the outside, the cottage is stylish and modern inside whilst keeping a traditional feel. Loved our time their, the views, the tranquility and of course the hot tub! Just make sure you take plenty of good books to read, appropriate gear for all types of scottish weather and stock up on your fave food & drink and you'll be all set! C
