This small and comfortable house Son Mulet is located on the outskirts of the town of Llubí, in the “Pla de Mallorca”, on the northeast of the island. The house is on a plot of 10,000 m2, with a living area of 100 m2 and offers amazing views over the surrounding landscape and the mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana. A well maintained path leads us to the door entrance. The house consists of one floor that is distributed in a large living/dining room with a well-equipped open kitchen with direct access to the terrace/pool. It has a table for meals, sofa, TV, DVD, a large open stone fireplace and a cistern. Two double bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two twin beds) and a bathroom with bath complete the interior of the house. All the ceilings of the house are lined with typical Majorcan wooden beams.

The house has air conditioning (hot and cold) and free Wi-Fi connection.

Situation

The house is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Llubí, away from the hustle and 47 km from the airport. Llubí (2 km from the house) is a small farming village with a population of about 2,000 inhabitants and is known for its rain-fed agriculture, almond, carob and fig trees are the most fruits characteristic of the area. Only 5 minutes’ drive you can reach this wonderful village where you can find supermarkets, small shops, some bars and a restaurant.

From the railway station of Llubí, the train can take you to Palma in 45 minutes. The market of Llubí takes place every Tuesday. It is a market of natural and local products. Other amenities are found in the town of Santa Margalida (8 km) and the fascinating town of Sineu (7 km), very well known for its market held every Wednesday, as it has been done for the past 700 years.

Llubí is located about 40 minutes’ drive from the Sierra de Tramuntana that has extraordinary scenic, cultural, historical and ethnological values. Declared World Heritage Site, it brings together mountains, valleys and a coast limited by two symbols of Mallorca: the island of “Sa Dragonera” and Cape of “Formentor”. It includes villages such as Deià, Valldemossa or Sóller, hiking and cycling, olive trees, citrus groves and vineyards.

The Bay of Alcudia and the Beach of Muro, located just 20 minutes’ drive are some of the most privileged beaches of the Mediterranean. There are a wide variety of beaches: of fine sand, pebble, large, small, etc. The beach of Muro is a beach with calm waters and moderate waves, with fine golden sand, with stretches of pine forests. Especially remarkable is the area of “Es Comú de Muro”, an unspoilt beach without construction that belongs to the Natural Park of s’Albufera.

The airport of Palma de Mallorca is located 35 km away from the house.

Exterior

The exterior of the house consists of a beautiful countryside surrounded by the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean. It has large landscaped outdoor grounds fully enclosed and with a variety of colorful plants, mature shrubs, almond trees, and pines, palms and fruit trees. There is no better place to experience and enjoy a great feeling of peace and tranquility.

The main part of the house has a covered terrace with a table to enjoy your culinary delights outdoor, a stone barbecue and a playground with a swing for the enjoyment of the children.

The well maintained garden, has a nice pool (10m x 5m), an outdoor shower and garden furniture including sun-loungers, thatched umbrellas and a Balinese style sun-lounger, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the sun, all that you needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay, with or without children. In front of the pool there is under a porch a ping-pong table. The garden surrounded by several pine trees is an oasis of peace and gives you an atmosphere of comfort in all aspects.

Included in the price are bed linen, towels for the house, tea towels, the final cleaning and other costs (electricity, water, gas).

A first cot and highchair can be provided free of charge. For any additional cot or highchair a charge of 5€ each per night will be applied.
