Description

After extensive renovation this beautiful Riverside Pembrokeshire Cottage on the banks of the Eastern Cleddau nestled below Llawhaden Castle accessed over the Norman Bridge and next door to the historic church. Furnished to an exceptional standard such as Smeg Range cooker, Retro fridge, Perrin & Rowe taps, Roll top cast iron bath, Stone and oak floors, solid timber kitchen and doors, glowing log burning stove the cottage oozes charm and character.

A large stainless barbecue is on the raised garden area which leads to the River that you will view Kingfishers, Salmon and Trout. If you are a keen Fisherman not only at the river but legendary Ian Heaps (Fresh Water Angling World Champion) who has large selection of lakes that run competitions in season is just 5 mins walk up the quiet country lane.

In the evenings after a lovely supper and long walks sit by the log burner and listen to your favourite music on Arcam separates Hifi or watch your favourite TV on the LED Sony Bravia. One super-king double bedroom, and one double room with single bunk allows occupancy for up to 5 holidaymakers. Just 10 minutes drive to the much loved market town of Narberth where fantastic local produce can be obtained and all of your other requirements from Art to antiques and jewellery.

Also being in the center of West Wales you have the whole of the Pembrokeshire coast at your fingertips from 30 mins at Tenby to St Davids within an Hour.

Oakwood Park and Bluestone resort is also only 15mins away along with Canaston Woods for anyone enjoying off road cycling.

Getting around

Narberth and Clunderwen are the nearest train stations (10mins by car) which change at either Carmarthen or Swansea.

Interaction with guest

On arrival there is a cobbled parking area outside the cottage. Access to the property is via the small steps next to the entrance to the church down some small steps. To the left of the front door there is a window on the side. To the left of the window is a key box. You will be provided with the code prior to your arrival. Change the code and press either side of the key box where the sprung buttons are. The Box will open down towards you revealing the keys. If you have any problems please ring either the caretakers or myself.
