“Ideal for getting away from the rat race”

Reviewed 8 Jan 2015

A gorgeous cosy cottage in idillic location. The house had all of the amenities you could wish for including a very well equipped kitchen. Would thoroughly recommend if you are looking for a break away to enjoy the outdoors or just looking to get away from it all.

“Outstanding !!”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2015

We stayed at the dovecote Cottage in early January 2015. The whole cottage was absolutely stunning and our favourite part was the hot tub. It rained throughout our stay there but that didn't matter one bit because of the wide range of entertainment provided inside. The views all around are sublime and we was really impressed by the small ponds which surround the cottage and attract and an array of wildlife. The cottage is very well placed for walking through the pretty Gwaun Valley or for visiting the busy cosy Bridgend Inn who serve an extensive range of ales. A special thanks to Peter for his kindness on leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge on our arrival. We cannot wait to return to Dovecote in the future and hopefully next time we will be able to stay longer. Steven and Susan

“The most fantastic cosy hotel for our honeymoon :)”

Reviewed 30 Oct 2014

My self and my new husband stayed at the dovecote for our honeymoon in october 2014. the weather wasn't fab but that didn't matter one bit. The whole cottage was just amazing.....modern, cosy, very clean and felt like home. Our favourite was the bath and the bubbly and chocolates left for us in the fridge which made our stay that little bit more special. We cannot wait to return to the Dovecote in the future. Thanks to the owners for their kindness, it really does show in all that they do. :)

Well... you can't start your honeymoon without bubbly and chocolate can you! Sorry the weather wasn't great but we're really pleased you loved the cottage. Hopefully you can come back for an anniversary one year.

“BEAUTIFUL... AN AMAZING FIND!!!”

Reviewed 14 Aug 2014

What a beautiful cottage!! Everything was there to make our stay as relaxing as we wanted it to be. Lovely and clean and welcoming. The quality of the furnishings and linen provided was excellent. The kitchen has to be the best provided in our experience of holiday rentals. The views from the cottage were stunning, the visiting birds seemed to be very comfortable with our presence and the grey squirrel positively posed for a picture I'm sure. But our particular favorite was to watch the bats at dusk, ducking and diving. The coastline in that area from Cardigan to St Davids was utterly breathtaking! Would we go there again, YES, YES and YES again.....the only downside was having to leave!!

“Well designed idyllic cottage with spectacular views and complete privacy.”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2014

This cottage has a light airy feel with spectacular views across stunning scenery The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a double jacuzzi bath in the conservatory. It is very well placed for walking along the North Pembrokeshire Coast or exploring the Gwaun Valley. Whilst there is another holiday let and farm nearby the cottage has complete privacy and a secluded outside area with a small pond and many visiting birds. The bedroom is reached by steep spiral wooden steps that would not suit older people or those with mobility problems.

“A delightful experience”

This is a peaceful rural location with wonderful views. The cottage affords complete privacy and the property is well-appointed. It has been beautifully and imaginatively crafted and has everything that you could require for a very comfortable stay.We will certainly return.
