“Lovely little cottage”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2018

Lovely little cottage with everything we needed for weekend away , clean and tidy , lovely little sitting area at the back, river running behind fence, plenty of birds to watch four adults and 2dogs stayed comfortably, lovely little village ,very rural car needed, lovely walks close by or short drive away,we ordered shopping to be delivered from well known supermarket.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your kind and detailed review. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay. Terry

“Short Break to North Wales”

Reviewed 15 Oct 2017

Booked our stay at this holiday cottage last minute. Response time was very prompt. Cottage was lovely and reminded us of French cottages that we have stayed in, everything that you could need for a relaxing break. Short drive from lots of places to visit.

Owner's reply: Hi Michelle, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at our cottage. and I hope you managed to visit many of the attractions the area has to offer.

“Great cottage and Base for seeing North Wales”

Reviewed 15 Aug 2017

The cottage was well kept, clean, tidy and modernised to a good standard. The wood burning fire had the desired impact and the outdoor pizza oven a great addition and loved by our 6 year old. The bedrooms were of a good standard and met our needs..... Easily of a 4 person family. They information made available about the cottage and local area by the owners was of great help....and meant you were made aware of how everything worked. Internet is available and works via a MiFi unit tucked away in the upstairs toilet.... Once we managed to find it the service works fine. The cottage is within 30 to 45 mins of the main visitor areas such h as Snowden, Colwyn Bay, Caernarfon, Anglesey, Llandudno to name a few. Only slight negative was the lack of a shop or pub without driving but that is made clear in the description. Overall very positive and enjoyable stay in the cost effective cottage rental that is kept to a good standard.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your detailed review of our cottage. Even though it's in a quiet rural village it is good for accessing many of the main tourist hotspots of North Wales.

“Lovely rural retreat”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2016

We have recently returned from a weekend break in this lovely cottage. Brythonfa is a 150 year old workers cottage, but dont let that fool you, the interior is bang up to date, very clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The owners make you feel very welcome and everything has been taken care of, from coal and logs to local information. There is a small town ten minutes away and we used it as a base to walk Snowdon. Highly recommended.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your review. We always fee a warm glow when people enjoy our little cottage. Yours Terry

“Lovely Cottage”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2012

We had a lovely time as this beautiful, cosy cottage. We really enjoyed our stay, there was plenty of room for myself, my husband and our two young children. The decoration throughout was very nice & everything was very clean. The cottage had all the amenities that you would expect, the beds were comfortable & the shower was hot. The best thing was being able to make & enjoy having a wonderful coal fire in the evenings. We would definitely like to return to the cottage in the future.

“Affordable little cottage convenient for Coast and Mountains”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2012

Small terraced house in little hamlet in foot hills adjoining Snowdonia and Conway coast. Well equipped and compact, Brythonfa is a good touring base for the area. Sleeps 4 (plus dog). Owner very helpful/ flexible.
