Location description from owner

The North Wales region

Anglesey is a fascinating island rich in anciant history and is surrounded by sandy beaches and rocky coasts with caves. The island of Anglesey is under 25 miles in length. The main townss are Holyhead, LLangefni, Amlwch and Beaumaris. Attached to the mainland by bridge, Anglesey's natural setting is hard to beat - an island of rolling landscapes fringed by 25 miles of magnificent coastline with the Snowdonia mountain range creating a striking backdrop.

Llangefni

There are loads of activites and sports facilities available locally like horse-riding, fishing, golf within a 30 minute drive, and watersports. There are lovely areas in which to walk and cycle and bird-watching is great in the area.

“Can't wait to return!”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2013

This was my family's first visit to Anglesey and it won't be the last. The cottage was centrally located and easy to access with many of the main Anglesey attractions and amenities a short drive away. We received a warm welcome from Sam and Shan on our arrival. The cottage itself was well equipped and the large enclosed garden was excellent for our children. We would highly recommend Beaumaris (try crabbing off the pier!) and Beaumaris Castle, Foel Farm and the Sea Zoo. Great family trips!
