Castles include: Pembroke, Carew, Manobier, Llaugharne (with Dylan Thomas' boathouse) Llansteffan to name a but a few
Beaches: Around fifty many of which have blue flag status or other awards. In fact, there are more blue flag beaches in Pembrokeshire than any other county.
Walking and cycling: Preseli hills, the Brecon Beacons and the less known but beautiful Cambrian mountains. And of course the Snowdonia National Park. For those less energetic we have LLys Y Fran lake which is great for easy cycling, walking and for fishing (20 minutes)
Horse Riding: Beach riding and hill trekking are all available within a short drive.
Golf: Narberth golf is 10 minutes away and Haverfordwest, Tenby and Carmarthen are all within 20 minutes.
Surfing: Pembrokeshire has some of the best surfing in the UK
Sailing: Is available at Tenby and Saundersfoot within 20 minutes
Museums and art galleries: Too many to mention but notably St Davids has numerous art galleries and also the must see Cathedral.
Boat and fishing trips: From Tenby to Skomer to see puffins, Skokholm, Grassholme and Caldy Island with its monastary. Dolphins can regularly be seen along the North Pembrokeshire coast.
Fun for the kids (and grown ups) Annas Welsh Zoo, Folly Farm Zoo, Canaston Bowl ten pin bowling, Oakwood Theme park, Blue Lagoon water Park, Heatherton Activities (quad bikes, assualt courses and paintballing etc)
Dinosaur Park, Castle Hennllys fort, Picton gardens, The Botanic gardens.
Restaurants: Probably best to talk to the owners for reccommendations on arrival as we all have different tastes.
Etc etc etc

They have beer festivals in the Summer with activities for the children too.A few miles from the village we have Pembertons Chocolate Farm which is well worth a visit. We have a great country restaurant, Jabajak, a few miles away. Cycling away from the A roads is great and traffic is almost non existent.

Dentist and health centre (just in case)
Four take aways
At least eight public houses and restaurants

“Great week away!”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2015

We have just had a great week away in this stunning 5 star cottage. The location is great for families to explore Pembrokeshire (beaches, Folly Farm, Blue Lagoon - all within a short drive away) and the cottage itself is very beautifully furnished, spacious, modern, clean and equipped with everything you need making it a home away from home. Thanks for a lovely stay!

“High quality and peaceful holiday cottage with excellent facilities”

Brilliant holiday cottage for all the family. Well located for easy reach of coast at Tenby, local attractions e.g Folly Farm for the kids, and many restaurants are within an easy drive. A lot of thought has gone into the cottage, and all the furnishings are high spec. All needs are catered for from toys and dvds for children, to dishwasher and washing machine, bbq, towels and a wonderful welcome packs with all the essentials. The friendly ponies nearby were also loved by the children. It is definitely somewhere we would go again.

“Extremely comfortable, child-friendly and stylish property”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2013

I stayed here for the week with my husband, almost 3 year old and almost 1 year old. As soon as I walked through the door I felt at home. It was warm, stylish, clean and cosy and the open plan layout was perfect for our two young children, particularly as there were only 3 or 4 little steps up to the hallway from the living area, so almost a bungalow really. There was a chest of toys for the children at the far end of the hallway, so that served as their playroom, and there were plenty of books and DVDs stored away in the lounge. We didn't need to worry too much in terms of breakable knick knacks either, as they were virtually non-existent, which was helpful. High chair was in excellent condition and scrupulously clean (always a bonus) and there was plenty of space for a family of four, including space for 2 travel cots in the twin bedroom. The location was rural so very tranquil and the property overlooked a field with horses in. The only regret was that it wasn't summer as we would've relished dining on the lovely terraced patio overlooking the field and views! The owners couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, including supplying a rubber bath mat the same day we mentioned it. We were also very impressed with the generous welcome pack, containing quality foods and wine. All in all a fabulous little snip and we would recommend it to anyone for a relaxing week in West Wales, as it is close to most of the attractions in the area. Folly Farm was particularly enjoyed by all of us and Barafundle Bay definitely worth a look as it is beautiful.

Great base for vareity of activities,so many places of interest to visit, beaches, walks, even just great to relax in the garden

“Lovely, well presented and well equipped accomodation.”

Beudy Bach is a super cottage, in a nice rural location and good position to visit all corners of Pembrokeshire. Gill and Ed were very welcoming and left a generous pack of goodies to start our week! Would not hesitate to return to this cottage if we holiday in Pembrokeshire again. Thanks for a lovely week.

“Beautiful accommodation in a peaceful location, didn't want to go home!”

This cottage has everything you would want and more! It's finished to a very high standard and we had a perfect relaxing week! The location is very peaceful but close to many amenities. Our son loved waking up to see the horses in the field every morning. Thanks to Gill & Ed for a great week (even the welcome pack was first class) we will be back!

“Lovely place, quality accomadation and nicely tucked away.”

We stayed here early August, we had two rainy days and then lovely sunshine for the rest. Even when the weather is bad there's loads to do, i.e. Pembroke Castle or shopping in Tenby. The local beaches are lovely and if you don't mind travelling Barafundle Bay is beautiful. The house is spacious with a high quality finish, even top quality applicances! There is attention to detail, even a proper little picnic set. The outside space is ample for kids to run about, with a nice terrace for chilling out with a BBQ and a glass of wine. The sum up, great accommodation, nice hosts and pleasant setting.

“A cottage of the highest quality, welcoming and very comfortable.”

We have been renting 4 and 5 star cottages (2 or 3 a year) in various parts of the UK for many years and Beudy Bach is without doubt the find of the decade. The cottage is roomy, extremely well equipped, and furnished to a standard that provides a high level of luxury and comfort rarely found in this price range. The location is quiet and peaceful yet allows you to explore Pembrokeshire with ease. We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing week in this property.

“New and well equipped, Comfort, Location, Peace and Quiet- it had the lot!”

Delighted with Ed and Gill's cottage, and very pleased we chose it. Great central location - we travelled to several places to take part in activities on rivers and on the coast. Peacefully situated alongside farm and with open country views all around - but within easy 20 min walk of good village pub (fortnightly Tues quiz night - good fun!). The cottage has been newly and very tastefull redeveloped from a former farm building and has fully equipped kitchen and laundry room - all good quality stuff too. Lots of puzzles and games provided for rainy days. Ed and Gill very helpful and friendly.

“Beautiful 5 star cottage, great location”

Reviewed 23 Apr 2012

Had a great stay in a beautiful, well equipped cottage. The house is furnished to an extremely high standard and the under floor heating is a huge plus. The location is very peaceful and in an ideal spot for touring round the whole of Pembrokeshire and Carmathenshire. We were warmly welcomed and given lots of information to plan our holiday. The outside space is lovely and there is a quiet patio at the back of the house. Would recommend Pembroke Castle, Oakwood theme park and any of the many beaches in the area. Have already recommended the property to friends and family and would love to return in the future - still have lots of places we would like to visit. This is the most luxurious holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Thank you.
