“Lovely Apartment”

Reviewed 25 Apr 2014

We spent Easter at Gower View Apartment & thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment has everything you could want, extremely comfortable beds & the showers were excellent. The views are stunning & we were lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset. Cooking was a pleasure as the kitchen was very well equipped & it was lovely to have everyone around. We ate out at Sosban ( the Sosban Fach menu) it was delicious & would return. A fantastic weekend was had by all & we'll be back!

“Superb apartment, excellent base for stunning cycle rides”

Reviewed 29 May 2012

We returned again to stay in this superb apartment, a luxury home from home where you start to relax as soon as you walk in and see the views. We didn't relax for long though as my husband had planned a list of cycle routes for our week! We so enjoyed our first cycle up the Black Mountain on the edge of the Brecon Beacons that we returned there later in the week to cycle it again, thoroughly recommended for the sense of achievement in reaching the top and the stunning views once you get there. The Sosban restaurant was excellent and a real treat for our first wedding anniversary meal and The Bryngwyn pub as good as always with great steak. It was even warm enough for champagne on the balcony watching the sunset on one evening, an added bonus! We hope to visit again before too long.

“Georgeous Apartment, Beautiful Views”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2012

We had a wonderful time at the Gower Penthouse. It was very comfortable, clean and had every mod con you could wish for. Sitting on the balcony, in the sunshine sheltered from the breeze, overlooking the fantastic beach, was lovely. The top floor living area was spacious and very well equipped, the master bedroom with ensuite was huge and the other two bedrooms were spacious and well set out. We hired bikes from the friendly staff at the millenium centre and enjoyed an exhilarating ride on the toboggan at Pembury Park. 15mins walk into town with lots of shops and train station. Overall we had a lovely holiday and my 16yr old daughter loved the apartment. We definately hope to return in the future. A big THANK YOU to the owners for the ease of booking, directions and the lovely apartment.

“Fantastic views and lovelly appartment”

Fantastic location and great property amenities including the great views. Our daughter enjoyed the beachside activities. Really comfortable home away from home. No real dislikes about the proprty and will definetly stay there again.

“Fantastic views in a well-equipped flat suitable for all ages.”

Reviewed 18 Feb 2012

This is our second stay at this lovely apartment overlooking the Gower. We have children of various ages and the flat was suitable for all. It has a well equipped in the kitchen and has all the added extras to hand. It is within walking distance of the town centre and easy access to the train .There are loads of outdoor activities to enjoy and you can hire cycles nearby in the millienium centre. The food markets are all great in Llanelli,Swansea and Carmarthen and well worth a visit. We also visited Caswell bay and Rhossili which are only a 30-40 min drive away. Definitely recommend.

“Fantastic getaway with views that can't help make you relax”

Reviewed 10 Jan 2012

Penthouse is extremely clean and well equipped - a real home from home! Beautifully finished and the view across the gower etc is breathtaking! The best self catering kitchen I have come across too, knives that are not blunt and an oven which works well! Showers nice and powerfull too! We stayed with our 10 month old son and as long as you leave pushchair in your car (too many stairs to carry it up and down) it is very child friendly with good travel cot and high chair provided. Does not have stair gate but the sofa upstairs come off in sections and is perfect width to put in front of stairs at the top. We walked to the train station a couple of the days we were there and went to different places which was nice and we went to the botanic gardens which we would recommend too! We ate in most of the time but did go to the steak house which is recommended in the literature and very much enjoyed it . We had a super week here and would def recommend it

Owner's reply: I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. As the penthouse is our family holiday home we have made sure it is as comfortable and well equipped as possible. We love to visit the Botanical Gardens - the glass house is amazing. Now that our granddaughter has started to crawl we realise the necessity for a stair gate and will install one when we visit at the beginning of February. I am sorry the weather was not better for you, but, as you found, there is plenty to do whatever the weather!

“Very comfortable home.”

The property had all amenities. Was spotless and comfortable. A verycomprehensive guest information pack is provided. Communication with the owner was excellent. The view is excellent. Restaurants good nearby - particularly Sosban early bird menu.

“The most relaxing stay in a beautiful location!”

Reviewed 11 Sep 2011

My Dad and I came here for somewhere to relax after lots of hard work at work and uni! The Penthouse was perfect for that, beautiful, comfy and spotlessly clean with everything we needed right there. The views from the balconys and the huge glass doors are stunning; you can sit out and watch the world go by and see the kite surfers and the sunsets, it's mesmerising and very relaxing indeed! The walks are well worth doing, with so many nearby. I hired a bike just next door from Merlin's Cycles which was great as the cycle paths are perfect and go all the way along the coast to the next door beaches. There is so much to do right on your doorstep, I don't think anyone would be at a loss to find something to entertain, whether you just want to relax near the beach or whether you want a lot of activities. My Dad says the Penthouse was surrounded by quality links golf courses including Royal Porthcawl, Pyle and Kenfig, Southerndown, with Ashburnham on the doorstep offering exceptionally good value. He was very happy! I really recommend staying here at Llanelli in the Penthouse for a lovely, relaxing and enjoyable stay.
