Canvas 47 is ideally situated in Llandudno town within walking distance of all attractions & amenities.

Lovingly restored, this former artists' residence, retains many original features with high ceilings, leaded glass, deep skirtings & original cornicing

At the base of the Great Orme midway between North and West shores this lovely Victorian villa with amazing views of the shoreline, town and mountains beyond is ideal for larger groups accommodating up to 7 people in extremely spacious rooms. The accommodation comprises: at ground floor level - conservatory to the front of the property, spacious hallway with beautiful Minton tiles, lounge with log-burner and smart TV/DVD & plenty of books, large dining room, kitchen with range cooker and dishwasher, fridge/freezer, utility with washing machine and tumble dryer. Downstairs toilet and shower room. At first floor level - single bedroom (with far reaching views), super king sized (2 x 3' zip & link) bedroom with fantastic views, king sized (5') bedroom with en-suite shower room and family bathroom (with shower over bath). At second floor level - twin bedded (2 x 3' beds) with fantastic sea & mountain views, shower room and lounge (with sink, mini fridge, tea making facilities and smart TV). A travel cot & high chair can be provided - please advise at time of booking (guests are requested to provide their own cot bedding).

With an abundance of original artworks the house will appeal to those looking for somewhere with a unique sense of style and homely charm.

Outside there is a large terraced front garden with spacious patio, ideal for enjoying the morning sunshine. A fully enclosed rear courtyard with dining table & chairs perfect for alfresco dining. On street parking is to be found directly outside the property with no parking / time restrictions.

The bustling cafes, restaurants and shops are all a very short walk away.

If you are seeking a large family home with unique features and spacious rooms Canvas 47 is ideal.

Please be aware, due to the age of the property the balustrade is 84cm high & the stairwell is very deep (3 storey's). Children must be supervised & not allowed to play in the stair area.

Llandudno.

Llandudno, affectionately known as 'The Queen of Welsh Resorts', is the unofficial capital of North Wales and a year round destination.

The Great Orme Country Park alone hosts a dry ski slope, toboggan run, Britain's longest cable car, ancient copper mines, and a Victorian tram (less than 5 minutes walk from Canvas). Not forgetting the many walking trails which boast amazing views towards Conwy, Anglesey and Snowdonia. You may even spot our Kashmir goats that roam free!

With two beaches, take a walk on North Shore along the pier (the longest in Wales) or the promenade and admire the impressive Victorian architecture. Alternatively, head to West shore and enjoy a beautiful sunset with a backdrop of the Snowdonia mountain range.

There is a competition size swimming pool, soft play centre (less than 5 minutes walk away) and Venue Cymru - a theatre and conference centre in town. Also popular is the Mostyn Gallery. It is a must for contemporary art lovers and houses a modern café and shop selling Welsh crafts.

The RSPB bird sanctuary, multi screen cinema and Welsh Mountain Zoo are a 10 minute car journey away.

Part of Conwy County, Llandudno is the largest holiday resort in Wales and is easily accessible by road & rail. 3 hours fast train from London and 1 1/2 - 2 hours drive from Liverpool & Manchester respectively.

Whether you spend your entire break in Llandudno itself or use it as a base to explore all that the area has to offer, there's something for everyone.

Conwy County.

You'll be spoilt for choice for outdoor activities. For adrenaline junkies there's Surf Snowdonia, Zip World, a number of high ropes courses, climbing and rib ride operators within a 45 minute drive of Llandudno. For the slightly less energetic there are many walking trails (some of the most popular being in Betws-y-Coed and the Snowdonia National Park), golf courses, cycle paths and opportunities for bird watching. With ancient castles in Conwy (a World Heritage Site), Beaumaris and Caernarfon and beautiful gardens such as those at Bodnant, you'll find everything easily accessible.

Drew Pritchards' new emporium (as seen in the popular TV series 'Salvage Hunters') is very close by in Conwy town as is the Trefriw Woollen Mill.

“Superb house”

We enjoyed a brilliant week here with our family including grandchildren. Wonderful spacious accommodation with beautiful views from the Little Orme to the Conway Mountains. The house is very well equipped with first class linen and towels. It’s in a good sheltered position within walking distance to the town, the Great Orme and Haulfre Gardens.we hope to return one day!

Very comfortable home. Lovely mix of old and new blended together very well . like the attention to detail, esp. quality blackout curtains. Having a good sleep on your holiday makes all the difference . Fantastic position for walking and amenities in the town .

“Great house!”

We had a great time staying in the house. It's huge and really well furnished and decorated. Owners were really nice and helpful, and everything was in place. Little notes and sweets left for the kids left them overwhelmed! we were lucky to have a sunny day! So we just walked down to the tram, took it up the hill and strolled down to the pier and town. The house location is perfect as you don't need to get in the car to get to the beach, town or the pier. The views from the top of the hill were great. highly recommended!

Stayed in Llandudno many times and this property tops the list.... the house was clean and spacious, well equipped and the kids loved 'their floor'. (Top floor had own kitchen and tv) great location for the town centre and no problem parking either. The owner left plenty of tea/coffee and chocolate for the kids. Great to communicate with too. I really can't fault it!!!!! 5☆☆☆☆☆ all the way. Now comes with wi-fi too.... lovely house... the Babb/Jordi's

“A rare experience in an idyllic setting”

If you're looking for a rich experience and not just another place to lay your head, you'll find it here. Beginning with the arrival at this beautiful, impressive Victorian villa on the side of the Great Orme with views over the city to the sea and the Lesser Orme. We were often tempted to just stay inside by the windows and stare out at the incredible views! The house itself is a unique and inspiring experience. It celebrates the life of the artists who lived here for many years. Their paintings and lithographs adorn the walls and add real character to the house. The complete renovation is stunning with the original architectural elements and modern conveniences combined in a tasteful and pleasing way. The original fireplaces are gorgeous! The modern kitchen is wonderfully integrated and fully stocked. The bathrooms are modern, with a quiet elegance. The upper two floors contain beautiful large bedrooms and sitting rooms and the stairway that functions as the centerpiece to the house is a work of art. The location within the town is perfect! A short walk in either direction takes you to the water. Fine dining, casual restaurants and pubs, and shopping are a pleasant walk away. A wonderful walk just behind the house takes you to the top of the Great Orme. I can't imagine a more rewarding choice for lodging in Llandudno. And while you're in the area, make sure you visit Bodnant Gardens - one of Wales true treasures.

“Great house!”

We stayed in Canvas 47 for 3 nights in September. What an amazing house. The boys had the top floor with a little sitting room, huge twin bedroom and their own bathroom....they loved it!! The owner, Gaenor, was great in our dealings with her even though we didn't meet. They left lovely flowers and a box of chocolates with a note for the boys welcoming them. The house was only a short walk into Llandudno and also to the tram station for the Orme. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Llandudno.
