“Woeful customer service”

Reviewed 22 Jan 2018

Sent an email requesting a week in August and had a reply confirming the week I was looking for was free. Responded promptly saying we would like to book and could she send me the paperwork. Received no reply and when I chased up was told she had not received my email! That I doubt as I never received failed message notification. Needless to say the property was now booked, so I have to look all over again. It appears I'm not the only one who has suffered such a fate. Even had problems trying to post this review.

“Strange owner”

Reviewed 21 Nov 2017

Waited for confirmation more than 24 any response at all..chasing by emails..nothing..still in limbo situation... probaby owner waiting better offers from somebody else for longer stay..

Owner's reply: I'm not quite sure how you have come to this review. You enquired about a two night stay on 20th November, to which I replied that it is a minimum three night stay. You then enquired about a three night stay, to which I replied with the cost and asked you to reply if you wanted to book. I heard nothing more, just two emails, until you put on this strange review. I can assure you I do not wait for better offers, I treat everyone fairly and I am sorry that you would presume this.

“Great Location - wonderful views”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2016

This was a really lovely propriety. 15 minute slow walk to the sea from. Two wonderfully fitted bathrooms and super kitchen/dinner. Would recommend this property to families and couples. Lovely short break.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your review and glad you had a lovely stay.

“Great holiday home - plenty of space”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2012

We just spent a week at Oakfield with our extended family. This is a good sized holiday home for large groups. It has plenty of space over 3 floors. The house is pretty well equipped. It has a good sized dining kitchen. The lounge is very spacious - we found it bigger than in the pictures. Our 2 young kids (aged 2 and 4) loved the cave bedroom! As our party had 5 adults and 2 kids - the 3 toilets (2 bathrooms) were appreciated. The garden is really nice too. Our kids loved playing in it! There is a large drive / parking area, however the entrance is a little but tight. If you have more than 2 cars in your party best to back smaller car in first. The parking area could probably fit 3 cars if you park smartly. We really liked the area. Both Llandudno and Conwy are great places to visit. Llandudno is a nice victorian beach town - and is not tacky like lots of beach / holiday towns. Conwy is fascinating with it's midieval walls and castle. The owners were very helpful and responded to any queries quickly during the pre-booking and booking process as well as during our stay.
