Home to rare breed animals, this peaceful location amidst the rolling hills of Carmarthenshire is ideal for quality quiet time away from the city but also easily accessible to attractions, beaches and outdoor activities. Ideal for holidays, family get together so and business trips.The stone cottages have been sympathetically converted from the original farm buildings whilst retaining their traditional character. Original barn doors have been replaced with huge windows ensuring the sunshine floods through the cottages. Exposed beams and original stone work oozes character. Forget boutique and uniform hotel style, our 4* cottages are home from home, contemporary style paintwork with quality bed linen and fluffy white towels (no chintz). Families with children will love helping Farmer Rob feed the animals (lots of piglets) and adults will enjoy the peace as well as the opportunity to join our cheese making and pork curing classes or even learning Pig & Goat Keeping. You can even volunteer as a farmer for a day!If you want to leave the farm we are spoilt with castles, gardens, NT properties and beaches not to mention mountains, the Brecon Beacons and Brechfa Forest. Aberglasney Gardens is just 2 miles away, Dinefwr 4 miles and it seems there's a castle around every corner.

The Wales region

Situated in the beautiful Towy valley between the Cambrian and Black Mountains on the edge of the Brecon beacons. The farm is close to the boutique town of Llandeilo and easily accessible to main road routes just a mile and a half from the A40. Aberglasney Gardens are just over a mile away and the National Botanic Gardens just a 15 minute drive. We have NT trust properties including Paxton's Tower, Dolaucothi Gold Mines and Dinefwr Park & Castle close by and a castle around every corner with Carreg Cennen, Kidwelly, Dryslwyn, Carmarthen and Dinefwr to explore. A short drive will take you to forests, mountains and wonderful sandy beaches miles and miles long, country parks and other family attractions like theme parks and waterparks.
