“News Year Stay”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2018

Lovely place to spend New Year. Fantastic views from the living room window. Was deceptively big inside and easily accommodated 5 adults and a Labrador! Lovely welcome pack on arrival, including welsh cakes and wine. Ella was very helpful when we had a couple of queries. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably book again. Lovely touch with the welcome pack of wine, milk and hot cross buns. Yum!!

“A cosy cottage enclosed by Snowdonia's mountains”

Reviewed 25 Jul 2016

On arrival, we were provided a tea tray with bought milk and biscuits. Fresh towels and beds along with condiments and kitchen/ bathroom facilities ready for use. We all had a great sleep staying in this cottage too! The cottage just a short walk away into the main street of Llanberis. There are independent shops, spar, lake and pubs/cafes/restaurants. Plenty of tourist attractions to visit within Llanberis and for those into mountain climbing, you can start your climb straight from the village using the Llanberis path. Plenty of further local areas to visit provided within the cottage's guide plus, games, books and all! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here, we even had a lovely small rear garden to sit outside, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the views. Tips: The cottage is on a slope so do bear that in mind. There is only space for one car opposite the cottage but any extra parking or help, the owner of the property is more than happy to help, accommodate you and make sure you enjoy your stay!

“Homey, clean, lovely view, enchanting garden, great location”

Reviewed 8 Apr 2016

I was really delighted by the light, clean, simple decor and homely feel of the house. I was uncertain about the gas fire instead of wood burner but it was actually really great - the living space warmed up super fast after being out. I sat with my coffee outside the front pouch one morning and just took in the beautiful panoramic view and then sat in the garden for afternoon tea. The local amenities were only a few minutes walk away. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Thank you Ella for having us stay in your lovely holiday home and for all the lovely added touches.

“Home from Home”

Reviewed 4 Apr 2016

From the minute we opened the door we felt at home. The attention to detail kept surprising us - tea service laid out on a tray with chocolate buscuits, fuly stocked kilner jars with tea, cofee, sugar and herbal tea, good quality kitchen equipement suffient for any meal, books in all the bedrooms, towels laid out like you are in a top hotel. And at the end of a day a lovely bath to soak in. We were lucky to have some sunny days so we could sit in the pretty garden, enjoying the fresh air and scenery. Ella was really helpful in answering all our questions before and during the stay and an added bonus was mountain guiding and rock climbing instruction from Cat. We would definitely go again.

“They have thought of everything, ideal situation, warm and cosy.”

Perfect location, easy to walk anywhere in Llanberis, also for further afield walks. The house was very well equipped and welcoming. It was a wonderful holiday. Thank you Ella

“Beautiful cottage perfect for Snowdon”

Reviewed 16 Mar 2016

We travelled as a group of 5 friends and this cottage was great. There was plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen which made dinners in a pleasure. The location is ideal for access to Snowdon. We chose to take the Llanberis path so could walk to it from the house - especially handy if you want a well earned cider after the hike!
