“Beautiful Accommodation, Perfectly Placed”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2017

From the time we booked to the time we arrived the communication was very good giving us all the information we needed. As we walked in, the place was spotless and was made very welcoming with lights on a fire glowing. Nice spacious accommodation, clean kitchen which is well equipped with utensils, plates glasses etc, there were tea towels and washing up liquid and cloths provided, table with seating for 6 set up so you can either stay in and cook with ease or just walk a few yards and you will find restaurants and takeaways bars etc the choice if yours. There is a large flat screen TV with free view channels and plenty of seating in the living room area. Upstairs a large bedroom with a comfortable bed, ensuite with a nice big shower and plenty of fluffy towels. There is also access to a small balcony from the bedroom. Loads of drawers and hanging space for clothes. You can park on the drive securely and gates can be closed for added security. There is also an area at the front with a large garden table and chairs, a BBQ and chair covers are in the shed for use. We had a lovely time here and I would definitely recommend this spacious accommodation which as I said at the beginning is perfectly placed for for touring snowdonia. The Snowdon Railway, Slate Mines, Electric Mountain and Llanberis Lake Railway are all within 15 mins walk. Thank you for a great holiday.

“Ideal base for Snowdonia”

Reviewed 5 Oct 2016

The cottage is just off the main High Street down a cul-de-sac with a handful of other properties. A parking space is available on the gated front garden. There is a conservatory on the front of the cottage which serves as a smart dining room. The design is open-plan, leading into a lounge area with a small but well equipped kitchen. Up the stairs there is a fold-up bed for guests but also the sofa downstairs is a bed/settee. The smart and spacious bedroom gives a great view of the lake and there is an en-suite shower room. The property is best suited for couples as the only toilet is in the ensuite. The gardens are well kept and there is an outhouse with tumble dryer etc... Also there is a washing machine in the kitchen which proved handy for washing muddy clothes. All in all, highly recommended. Ruth next door helped with any questions we had but was not intrusive.

Owner's reply: What a nice review thankyou very much.

“The most comfortable and well equipped holiday home I've stayed in”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2012

The title says it all. I've stayed in maybe types of accomodation in Llanberis over the years, usually either side of the school half-term in October. Sometimes with my wife, sometimes on my own. On this occassion I was on my own. I can honestly say that this has been the best and most comfortable holiday let I've stayed in. Although I'm not a cook by any means the kitchen was the most well equipped I've seen in a holiday home, I can't think of one thing that was missing. The rest of the house was just as well appointed with plenty of fresh linen and towels available. The house was very warm, cosy and welcoming after a long day out walking in the cold wind and rain!! It has excellent off-street parking on the driveway in front of the house and is located within yards of the local shops and cafe/restaurants. LLanberis, as always, is an excellent centre for exploring Snowdonia. Overall a brilliant place to stay and rest and I would say ideal for a couple - I would definitely want to return. Thanks Maria.

Owner's reply: What lovely comments, we look forward to welcoming you again. thankyou Maria

“In A beautiful spot”

Reviewed 13 Oct 2012

The house is in a quiet spot just off the High Street, close enough to shops, bars etc, yet when you sit on the balcony looking out over the lake you'd think you were a world away. The house is well equipped and very comfortable, so good we want to return next year. Maria was most welcoming and helpful, let us leave our car in the drive on the last day while we went on the Snowdon train, which saved us paying parking. There's plenty do in the area even when the weather is poor, the Slate museum (free entry) and Electric Mountain are musts, as is a trip up Snowden. We fell in love with Llanberis and the amazing views and countryside around it, and of course the people who made us welcome everywhere we went.

Owner's reply: Thankyou for your kind review we look forward to welcoming you in the future.
