“Well equipped homely cottage”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2016

Snowden Cottage is a lovely 3 bed cottage with parking for three cars up the hill above Llanberis high street. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay a comfortable one, from a very well equipped kitchen to games, books and dvd's with the bonus of a hot tub, bbq and patio furniture. It is ideally located for exploring Snowdonia and is within easy travelling distance of Zip World at Bethesda (our reason for visiting wales on this occasion). We would definitely stay again.

“Comfortable and in a perfect place”

Reviewed 26 Oct 2015

We came for the marathon and to do some walking and cycling. Things we loved; There was plenty of room, everything was clean, you could control the hot water and the heating, so have it just like home. There was a lovely log fire in a big fireplace, it was close to the mountains and close to town, so we didn't have to use the car, it was quiet and we all slept well. I liked the look of the garden and think that in the Summer it would be even better. There was everything that you could need in the kitchen. Things that might put you off/could be better: the road up to the cottage is steep and narrow, so if you had mobility issues or a big car, that would be tricky. Lashings of hot water, but after 6 of us had had a shower, the bathroom looked as if we had tried to bath a pack of disobedient dogs.

Looking forward to seeing you all again in October - Thank you for staying

“Nice relaxing week in a Cottage that offered all we needed”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2015

We stayed in Snowdon Cottage for a week, a party of five adults. The Cottage was equipped with all we needed and had a very good internet connection, made up beds and towels supplied which was nice when all travelling there from Cornwall in one car and space was limited for extra packing. The location was ideal to walk to the local shop and attractions although on the top of a steep hill which may be a disadvantage if elderly or disabled but there is parking for a car at the Cottage which could be driven to the village if required. The hot tub was a nice added bonus after walking all day. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Thank you for your review, glad you enjoyed your stay with us, hope to see you again soon, thanks again

“Clean comfy cottage close to the mountains”

Reviewed 29 Jun 2015

Lovely little cottage in a good location for walking and exploring Snowdonia. 3 great double bedrooms and a hot tub in the garden. Narrow access roads leading to the cottage - fine for us but may prove tricky for larger cars!

Thank you so much for your lovely review, roads are on the narrow side but are ok for most vehicles including delivery wagons and bin lorries etc, so not a major issue at all, thanks again x

“Fantastic stay at Snowdon Cottage”

Reviewed 12 May 2015

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was warm, clean and very comfortable and the hot tub was a welcome treat. A great way to spend my 50th birthday and the staff even left us a magnum of prosecco as a gift. Highly recommend this place, wonderful views, lots of things to do around the area. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Glad you enjoyed your stay x

“Fantastic cottage, stunning location”

Reviewed 30 Apr 2015

Myself and my partner travelled to Snowdon Cottage for a long weekend. The cottage is spacious with everything you need for a home away from home. The scenery around the cottage and in Llanberis is spectacular, particularly on a sunny day. We climbed Snowdon whilst we were there and the views from the top were amazing. The cottage also has a hot tub which is perfect for relaxing in after a long day of walking. The trip was perfect in every way and I would highly recommend Snowdon Cottage as a base for discovering the national park.

Thanks folks - glad you enjoyed your stay x

“Great for a relaxing few days away!”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2014

Good location right at the bottom of Snowdon, near the railway, Llanberis waterfall and lake. Breathtaking views. The cottage is lovely, clean and comfortable, a real home from home. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after the day! Highly recommend this property. Owners always quick to respond and very helpful! Overall perfect stay! :)

“Lovely cottage, great location”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2014

Had a lovely stay at Snowdon Cottage at the beginning of April. It was in a perfect location in Llanberis for the pub or shops and great to climb Snowdon without having to worry about parking your car. The hot tub was very welcoming after a long days walking and the fire! Anne and Jim were really accomodating and would definitely stay again and reccommend it too any of our friends.

“A relaxing secluded and very cosy cottage”

Reviewed 12 Nov 2013

When I looked up Snowdon cottage the first thing I wanted to know whether it was close to the mountains of Snowdonia. Once I had spoken to Anne the owner all was clarified. It is in the heart of Llanberis. Everything you need to see is on your doorstep.Upon arrival to the Cottage there's a driveway where you can park your car off street. The cottage is lovely really cosy and homely . Well equipped kitchen where we cooked for 3nights. The living room has an open fire which just made it lovely and warm. The bedrooms are spacious and well lit. Overall the cottage is clean and in excellent condition. The landlords Anne and Jim were very accommodating and friendly which makes us want to come back to Llanberis. Thank you Jim for starting the fire for us on the first night and supplying more logs.

“Splendid and comfortable base with lots to do.”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2013

Snowdon Cottage provides a very comfortable and well-equipped base for exploring Llanberis and Snowdonia. There's plenty to do locally even in poor weather and a good bus service so a car isn't essential. The cottage was warm, the beds (and views from the bedrooms) great and we had a brilliant weekend
