Description

Snowdon House is situated in the Llanberis Pass, the most spectacular area of the Snowdonia National Park.

The house offers accommodation for 10+2 people with 5 doubles, and a twin with an additional sofa bed, all with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. It has full central heating and double glazing, a new fully fitted kitchen with underfloor heating, 3 bathrooms, 2 lounge areas with log burning stoves in feature inglenooks. There is a new 6 person outdoor hot tub, a 4 person sauna as well as a drying room, off road parking and a BBQ area and herb garden.

Your reservation will be held for seven days pending receipt of confirmation and payment of 30% deposit.

Please arrange your own holiday insurance as you are liable for the cost of the holiday. However, in the event of you being unable to take up your booking, we will try our best to obtain another guest, without prejudice to our right to the full rent if the house remains vacant.

Personal Belongings - Cars, contents, baggage, etc and all personal items are at the owner’s risk. The guest will be liable for any damage to the property or its contents.

As unforeseen events can happen at any time please consider travel insurance to cover you in the event of you not being able to take your holiday.

The house has four doubles and a twin all with stunning mountain views. There are three newly fitted bathrooms one with a full size bath, Sauna and drying room. The new fully fitted kitchen/dining area has the luxury of underfloor heating. There are two separate lounge areas, both with wood burning stoves in feature inglenooks with TV and Wi-Fi available.
At the end of a hard day on the hills you can enjoy a refreshing sauna in the 4 person sauna and relax in one of the two comfortable lounge areas. Each of these has a log burning stove in feature inglenooks - the one in the original cottage section dates back to when the house is thought to have been built in 1733. There is a TV in one lounge with the second lounge area intended to be more of a peaceful retreat at the end of the day where you can relax and listen to music or use the Wi-Fi connection.

You can head for either of the two terraces with a glass of wine and take in the amazing mountain scenery rising 3000ft above the valley floor. There is a BBQ and the border is planted with herbs that you can use for your cooking. For the ultimate relaxation slip into the new luxury 6 person hot tub where you can relax and soak away the aches and pains of a hard day on the hills while you enjoy the stunning mountain views towards Snowdon, The Glyders and Crib Goch. Enjoy the company of friends and family and plan tomorrow's adventure.

“It's like waking up inside a painting.”

The house is literally at the foot of mount Snowdon - so much so, from the carpark you can watch the trains pass on their way to the summit from Llanberis - which is a 5 minute drive away - and back down again. The house its self is second to none. The perfect combination of country, rustic and contemporary modern. The facilities were amazing. The sitting areas are a perfect size for a large party of people, with everyone comfortably seated. The kitchen/dining area is very spacious. The bedrooms were very simple, clean and comfortable with good space for storage. The sauna and hot tub were a fantastic addition - what better way to start your day than half an hour in the sauna, and then end the day with half an hour in the hot tub under the stars?

Stayed here for a walking weekend with friends and it's in a brilliant spot with stunning views, especially if you are lucky with the weather as we were. We like to cook as a group and found the kitchen really well equipped and the big table perfect for sociable meals. The hot tub and sauna were great after a day on the hills and also must mention the really comfy beds in the small but adequate bedrooms. The only negatives were the showers - one kept switching off mid shower and then stopped working altogether, and the other was not very powerfull. I think good showers are essential in a holiday home. Also note that neither the lounge nor the snug seats 10 people. This would be ok for families with children where a group wanted to watch TV and another group to chat, but for 10 friends like us, we had to utilise a couple of kitchen chairs!

We stayed at Snowdon House for a 3nt surprise family get together for my daughters 21st & had an amazing time. The obvious highlights are the hot tub & sauna which are brilliant & the house is more than big enough to accommodate 12 using the sofa bed which was really comfortable.We had everything we needed the one and only improvement being the showers only 1 out of 3 worked ok but that didn't spoil anything. All in all the house & location are fantastic & dog friendly also thank you Ann for the birthday card & bubbly -what a lovely thought....hope to be back soon

Stayed with a group of 12 friends in April, the property was ideal for us. Just under Snowdon, not far from Llanberis, a good size, with great facilities and very well kitted out. Would definitely return and recommend to similar groups.

Snowdon House is an exceptional building in a great location. Perfectly suited for walking, the hot tub is a great addition in any weather at the end of the day! With the weather being an issue at certain times of the year, it also offers easy access to a number of local amenities, many indoors, so there's something to do everyday.
