Tŷ Huw Llwyd our charming cottage is in the Snowdonia National Park village of Llan Ffestiniog.

Available for Saturday to Saturday weekly bookings, recently redecorated and a lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside, it offers spacious and comfortable holiday accommodation. It's the perfect base for a short break or holiday exploring Snowdonia and the North Wales coast.

Centrally located, near to all the attractions of Snowdonia.

The cottage offers welcoming accommodation with a comfortable large sitting room. It is equipped with wi-fi, fibre internet and smart 43 inch 4K TV, creating a very cosy relaxing atmosphere, a real ‘home from home’.

The kitchen diner is spacious and well appointed with a large dining table and chairs, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is also a downstairs cloakroom and toilet.

The master bedroom is a double room equipped with a 32 inch TV. Through the front window there are views of the Moelwyn Mountains to the front of the house.

The second bedroom is also a double room equipped with a 32 inch TV and views of the mountains and the valley to the south.

We have a small paved south facing patio which although small is a real sun trap.

All bedding is supplied, the only thing you need to bring is yourself, your clothes and your towels.

The bathroom is fitted with a thermostatic shower mounted over the bath.

There is an allocated off road car parking space to the rear of the property and plenty of room for a second car at the front.

Close to the Bounce Below and Zip World attractions in Blaenau Ffestiniog just three miles away. New Zip World Caverns - fully underground zip line course opened in May 2015.

Surrounded by wonderful mountains, Tŷ Huw Llwyd is perfect for lovely scenic walks, downhill mountain biking, or enjoying outdoor pursuits such as canoeing and climbing at Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre, bike trails at Llechwedd, one of the best mountain bike centres in Britain, discovering the magnificent slate caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, or visiting bustling Porthmadog with its individual shops, inviting eateries and colourful marina. With the enormous beach at Black Rock Sands, the picturesque Plas Tan-y-Bwlch and Portmeirion and the majesty of Mount Snowdon all within easy reach. Ideally placed on the Snowdonia Slate Trail.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Annette (the owner) a message.

If Annette (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
