Apartment is part of a building built in 1882 which is declared as cultural heritage of Ljubljana. It is located in a quiet part of the center, few steps to Ljubljanica river. One of it's rooms shares view to the hill Golovec. Apartment is 2.1km away from main bus station and railway station and 34km away from the airport of Ljubljana. Apartment has free WIFI.

Rooms in apartment are separated with thick walls aprox. 60cm thick. Living room has LCD TV with flat screen, DVD player… Apartment is a very bright place with carefuly selected design with a touch of european antique, oriental carpets and furniture of a modern stile. Apartment has seperated kitchen with a dining table. In kitchen among other accessories you'll also find toaster, espresso machine… Water in the apartment is safe to drink.

Getting around

BY CAR or BY CAB: Apartment is 2.1km away from the main bus station and railway station and 21km away from the airport of Ljubljana from which we can arrange you our own transport. Transport can be arranged from closest as from most distant locations, both ways :) BY BUS / BY BIKE: There is also urban public transport (bus numbers 5 and 13). In the apartment you'll also be given a city card called Urbana - you'll need it if you want to use city bikes or city buses. ON FOOT: The main square (Presern Square) of the city is reachable on foot from 10 - 15min of a nice walk by the Ljubljanica river... Everything within the ring formed by the Ljubljanica river as it's surrounding is reachable on foot. That includes Ljubljana Castle.

Interaction with guest

I will personally greet you upon arrival at the building. Regarding to that guests usually tell the approximate time of their arrival or give me a call (or sms) like 30min before they arrive. So far this became the best practice. Throughout your stay, I'm only ever a phone call away. I'm always happy to provide recommendations, advice or anything else that might pop up during your stay. If you are anything like me, you'll forget half of your luggage in the mad scramble back to the airport. Don't worry - this has happened countless time before (especially with kids!) and I always find a way to get your prized possessions back into your hands.

We do understand that for many reasons mistakes happen (fatigue, rush...). But please. Double check if the number of guests on your reservation invoice match the number of guests who'll actually come to the apartment. We will charge any additional person who come outside TripAdvisor on the site.

Note that government of Slovenia imposes a tourist tax of 1.27 EUR to be paid by every person over 7 years old per night.

“Feel like home”

apartment equipped with all comforts, very nice, clean and near of the city center. High availability and courtesy of the owner. I recommend it for all this reason, included the cozy atmosphere

“Good location, well equiped apartment”

The apartment is approx. 15 min walk from the centre, and is next to two supermarkets. The rooms are well equipped (2 double & 1 single bedroom, kitchen/diner, shower, 2 loos, large lounge) and wifi & parking is included. The apartment is on the ground floor but there are a few steps outside and inside the apartment. Would have been 5* but we could only get hold of the owner on the arrival day by calling (no text or e-mail response) and were not given keys until 2.15pm, rather than 12.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
