Description

Yew Tree Cottage is an ideal place to stay to visit the Malverns and walk on the hills, we are close to footpaths and can loan maps to ensure you can make the most of your stay. We are very close to the three counties showground and many other major attractions.Yew Tree Cottage is a semi-detached property which has been newly refurbished to a high standard, with a beautiful large garden adjoining this property making it the ideal place to relax and unwind under the apple trees, with lovely views of the hills.The interior of Yew Tree Cottage consists of two bedrooms which can be a double and a twin or two doubles, with fitted wardrobes especially made for us by a local carpenter, a large bathroom which features underfloor heating and a spa bath, a lounge with a two seater and three seater sofa and electric log fire, a well appointed kitchen with all of the essentials and oil central heating. We welcome children and the bedrooms are big enough to fit a travel cot if required.A travel

We welcome children and the bedrooms are big enough to fit a travel cot if required.A travel cot, Highchair and Stair gate are available for hire at the following prices - cot and high chair £10 each per stay, stair gate £5.00 per stay please advise at the time of booking if these are required.For dogs there is a large secure garden and we welcome up to two dogs but please make us aware of this at the time of booking, we also welcome other small pets including cats.There is a local pub around half a mile away (less than 10 minutes walk) which at the time of writing has free wireless Internet available providing a purchase is made at the bar, they also serve food on a daily basis and is a lovely warm traditional place to relax and enjoy a drink. They also hold regular themed and music evenings.Please note that due to exceptionally slow broadband speeds and the non existence of fibre optic broadband there is no wifi at the cottage. The local pub less than a half mile away does offer free wifi.We welcome walkers, families, cyclists and pets.

Worcestershire has an abundance of things to do from boat trips on the river in Upton-Upon-Severn to long (or short!) walks on the Malvern Hills you will never be short of things to do. A list of local attractions is provided within the holiday cottage, fantastic attractions include West Midlands Safari Park, Hereford Catedral and the Mappa Mundi, Worcester Cathedral, the historical docks at Gloucester, Croome Park, Eastnor Castle and the famous Cheltenham Racecourse to name a few.

Little Malvern

Little Malvern Priory has regular open days, there is a local pub serving home cooked food within a few minutes drive or a 10 minute walk, three couties showground is a five minute drive away they host many major events throughout the year. The town of Great Malvern is close by and Ledbury which is famous for its food is also within easy reach.The Big Chill is an annual festival held at Eastnor Castle which is only a few miles away, Malvern is also home to the Three Counties Showground which hosts major agracultural, dog and horse shows throughout the year as well as large Flea Markets, Wedding Fayres, Car Shows and much more, please see their website for more details.
