Built for comfort, this rural retreat is a one-room studio separate from the main building with full shower room, hand basin and toilet, and fully-equipped kitchen with washing machine, fridge, kettle, toaster, hotplates and microwave. It has its own door to the decking patio with table and chairs and access to the garden, with plenty of space for a bike and a car. It's situated off the A26, on the road that leads to the Bentley Wildfowl Trust and Motor Museum. Your hosts live next door, about 15 minutes drive from Lewes, capital of Sussex, and about 25 minutes drive from Brighton. London is easy to reach from here by car or train.

“Quiet country retreat”

Compact, self contained and well-equipped cabin in the Sussex countryside. Perfect for someone wanting to be independent, with beautiful walks from the doorstep. Garden and farmland views and active bird life! A very peaceful and restful place. Would not be suitable for anyone with an allergy to cats.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
