The Pembrokeshire coast path runs the length of the county and affords views to take your breath away. Crystal clear waters make it perfect for adventure activities like coasteering and kayaking, for spotting dolphins, or seeing seals hauled up in secret coves. Families have no end of choice; adventure parks, castles and boat trips, are just some of the attractions and events that will create lasting memories. And at the end of the day, head out to a pub or restaurant to sample the finest Pembrokeshire food and drink and recount the day'sevents.

Little Haven

The Barn is only 9 miles from the County Town of Haverfordwest with all it'samenities and yet it feels miles from anywhere! In the height of summer it is unusual to be able to be so close to the coast and yet be so peaceful and secluded. It is situated in an area of country lanes with flowering hedges and fields, wonderful for cycling and walking. It is only 1 mile from the Coastal Path. Go in one direction and you come to Little Haven with it's cafes and restaurants and the blue flag family resort of Broad Haven. A little further along the coast are the sweep of Newgale Sands, popular with surfers. In another direction are wild sandstone cliffs leading to isolated sands and coves. St. Brides Haven is idyllic and famous for it's clear diving and snorkelling in a marine park. A short drive will bring you to the water sports centre of Dale, famous for windsurfing and sailing. The Barn is on Marloes Peninsula with the wild and wonderful Marloes Sands and the bird islands of Skomer and Skokholm. Boat trips run to see the Puffins and Gannets, Grey Seals and dolphins and porpoises.

“quiet, spacious and home from home”

Reviewed 29 Dec 2016

Needed a Christmas retreat, and this was perfect for our family of four plus dog. A really quiet spot, very close to little haven, St Brides and Marloes Sands. A lovely space, equipped with everything you need and a huge garden. Couldn't have found a better place. The Owner was very helpful, courteous and I would have no hesitation in recommending this place. There is second cottage nextdoor which sleeps 2/3, which we are thinking of booking again with friends

Thankyou for your lovely review, it is a great place to share with friends
