Description

The Dairy is a gorgeous, cosy 1 bedroomed cottage which can accommodate 2/4 people in 1 bedroom and lounge, positioned across from the Barn around a large, flat grassy area making it ideal for larger groups to book together, but far enough apart to feel private if you're on your own. It has been lovingly restored in traditional stone and limewash, it's open plan design making it light and airy but cosy too with the woodburning stove. A wonderful getaway for couples and a great snug spot for small families. We are in a beautiful, remote location on a small holding down a single lane track, only 1 mile from the Pembrokeshire Coast path, with views of the sea and the islands of Skomer and Grassholm from our land. It is a perfect spot for walking the Coast path, for visiting spectacular beaches such as Broad Haven, Druidstone, Newgale and Marloes and for exploring local history spots such as St David's cathedral. We are only 2 miles from the quaint little fishing village

Location description from owner

The Wales region

Pembrokeshire is famous for it's unique Coastal National Park offering spectacular coastal walks over the most beautiful, wild terrain. People often comment that "it's like Cornwall only without the crowds"! This is certainly true, and one of the most special aspects about Pembrokeshire is the space, peace and quiet. Even during the most busy weeks of the summer holidays you can find beaches without anyone on them. Walking, swimming in Blue flag sea, diving, surfing, windsurfing and coasteering (pioneered in Pembrokeshire) are just some of the fantastic activities. If you're a culture vulture then a visit to St David's city, the smallest city in the world (in fact a lovely little village), with its awe inspiring cathedral is a must. In land we have the Preseli mountains, with great rambles to be had, with wonderful tea shops en route if you need the break! Pembrokeshire often feels like one of the UK's best kept secrets and certainly visitors who come to us return time and time again, feeling as if they've discovered something very special.

Little Haven

Pembrokeshire folk are laid back and friendly; it's a wonderfully safe place to live and visit with plenty of local activities such as the regattas at Little Haven and Dale, the New Year Day's swim, the "build your own" raft race at Little Haven during the summer. Spectacular wild beaches such as Marloes, Newgale, and Druistone are within 6 miles of our property with opportunities to have a go at all manner of sea sports. Family friendly beaches such as Broad Haven are just over 2 miles away, including great cafes, Londis shop and fish and chips! We have our own little rocky bay at the bottom of our quiet lane, just 1 mile away so you don't even need to get in the car to visit the sea. A visit to Skomer island in the early summer ensures seeing Puffins at close hand as well as the spectacular wild flowers that adorn the banks, coastal paths and cliffs from Spring to Autumn. Close by we have Little Haven, just 2 miles away, offering 3 pubs with great menus and terrific sunset views. We hope to offer a quiet retreat from busy lives, so look forward to welcoming you to Mill Haven Place when we can.
