Location description from owner

The Wales region

It is often said that Little Haven has a micro-climate of its own, and although we can't guarantee sun every day, it often seems that whilst the rest of the UK is suffering torrential rainstorms, holiday goers in Little Haven are able to sit out on the sheltered beach in blinding sunshine.

Little Haven

Little Haven is within the Pembrokeshire National Park where flourishing birdlife attracts many birdspotters to the area. Day trips to nearby islands such as Skomer and Ramsay are available and you can see Puffins, Guillemots and Razor Bills and watch seal pups in the Spring. Grey Atlantic Seals, Porpoise and Dolphin are all common in the area and Oyster Catchers are common on the beaches. The world-renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path is just a moment away from the front door, with a range of walk stretching as far as the eye can see. The local Puffin bus (which passes the house every morning) allows walkers and birdwatchers to extend their range of available locations significantly.

Stables in the nearby village of Nolton Haven provide a base to set off on Riding excursions to various locations including Druidstone beach, where people can ride through the surf. A range of adventure parks in the surrounding area provide the opportunity for Paintballing, Go-Karting, Water Parks, and various other activities.

“Excellent cottage in fantastic location”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2013

Our party of 10 (6 adults & 4 children between the ages of 13 and 18 months) all loved our holiday at millbrook. The cottage was lovely, warm and spacious, plenty of seating for everybody and the kitchen was well equipped. The showers were powerful and warm, just what is needed after a days walking along the beautiful pembrokeshire coastal path and beds comfy. The location was fantastic, such a beautiful place, with 3 pubs, a cafe and bistro within walking distance and the bay 'a stones throw away'. Would highly recommend.

“SIMPLY SUPERB”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2012

Equipped to the highest standard, spacious and spotlessly clean, this recently redeveloped former guest house is just yards from Little Haven beach. Our party consisted of fve adults and five children under ten, including one severely disabled child. Millbrook was perfect for a family holiday.

“Fantastically designed, contemporary interior in a stunning old house by the beach.”

Reviewed 20 Oct 2012

Located 4 metres from the sea and from a great little pub, the house has a great atmosphere, is newly decorated and furnished and is the perfect getaway. Only 4 hours from London, it provided the perfect place for a group of friends to getaway to for a week.
