All around there are clean sandy beaches, most safe for bathing. All along the coast there are amazing rock formations, a gemologist's dream. In addition to the spectacular 200 mile stretch of National Park coastline with its countless coves and golden beaches, local activities include coastal and deep sea fishing, sailing, boat trips to the off shore islands, canoeing, cycling, diving, golf, horse riding, surfing and coasteering. Local attractions include the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, Blackpool Mill caves and cafe at Caneston Bridge, Bosherton Lily Ponds near Pembroke, Caldy Island off Tenby, the Dinosaur Park near Tenby and the Oakwood Leisure Park. Visitors flock to St. David's, the smallest city in the British Isles, as they did in the Middle Ages, when it was a place of pilgrimage The cathedral and ruins of the Bishop's Palace form the most historic and revered buildings in Wales.
