Well located cottage in peaceful area , great for a quiet break , with playground and village green ( need care with road ) on doorstep great for families. Centrally located for all types of attractions and services. Spacious , clean cared for accommodation with attentive available owners who genuinely seem to care that all is in order to allow you to enjoy your stay.. Would have no hesitation in booking again.

“Really enjoyed our stay”

Reviewed 19 Feb 2015

We had a lovely time during our stay at Archdale Cottage. Marie, the owner was very helpful from our booking to our departure and beyond! The house is perfect for young children in a nice quiet location. A five minute drive from Irvinestown and a stones throw away from the beautiful Castle Archdale, perfect for family walks. A very warm and welcoming "home away from home" we will definitely stay here again.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your excellent review and I am glad Archdale Cottage was suitable for your stay. I look forward to welcoming you back again in the future. Marie.

“Great place to stay in Fermanagh!”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2014

We really enjoyed our stay in Archdale cottage. It's near the beautiful town of Enniskillen and there are great places to explore nearby. Local shops, pubs etc only 10 minutes away by car. The cottage was clean and well furnished. We had everything we needed(4of us) I very much appreciated the "welcome" gift and letter. The owner was very helpful, kind and efficient. Thanks a lot Marie.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your most positive review of Archdale Cottage. I am glad you enjoyed your stay there and that Archdale Cottage fulfilled your needs. I look forward to being able to welcome you back again. Regards, Marie.

“Perfect home from home”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2014

We were looking for a lazy week away to chill out in the Fermanagh Lakelands and Archdale Cottage fitted the bill perfectly. I was staying with my wife and 10 year old son and my parents also joined us later in the week for 3 days. The family Yorkie enjoyed coming with us too. We chose Archdale Cottage based on the looks of the property, the very reasonable price, the location and the fact that dogs were welcome. The cottage looked very fresh, clean and tidy from the photographs but I always know from experience not to take the professionally presented photos at face value as holiday properties never ever look as good as they do in the photos. Archdale Cottage however looks exactly like the photographs on the website, everything is exactly as you see it here, (apart from a newly upgraded TV!). The cottage is a perfect little country home in a row of four, set back from the road behind a tree lined green which has been recently fully refurbished inside. The key to the success of this property is that Marie and Paul treat it with care and respect and are obviously very proud of it, and so they should be. As a visitor you want to treat it with the same respect that the owners do which ensures that the property remains in excellent condition. If you feel that the owners of the property don't care about it or you as a customer then why would you care about the property either? Other holiday letters should take a leaf out of their book. We had a very enjoyable stay at Archdale Cottage and Marie was brilliant to deal with. We have wholeheartedly recommended the cottage to family and friends and plan to make a return visit ourselves next year. Thank you :)

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your excellent and most encourging review of Archdale Cottage. I look forward to being able to welcome you and your family back next year. Thank you once again. Regards, Marie.

“Perfect family break”

Reviewed 15 May 2014

Had a lovely time at Archdale cottage. The cottage was clean and had everything you would need, we travelled as 4 adults and 3 young children (one child slept in the room with the parents). Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area, Tickety Moo was a highlight! Lovely park just outside the cottage across a small road. Marie and Paul were very pleasant to deal with and left a great welcome pack for when we arrived. Recommend highly x

“Wonderful cottage.”

Reviewed 10 Mar 2014

I stayed with my husband & brother for 4 nights in February. Archdale Cottage is ideally situated to visit Enniskillen & lakeland area. We also had trips to Portrush area one day & Sligo area another - both easy trips from Archdale Cottage. The cottage was immaculate & very comfortable. It has everything you need to make meals there or we could recommend "Steak night" at the restaurant 5 minutes walk away. We enjoyed the thoughtful extras left by Marie & appreciated the helpful information she provided. We shall definitely return when we visit this area again.

“You can't go far wrong with this lovely cottage”

Reviewed 31 Oct 2013

We booked this lovely cottage for a long relaxing weekend, and that's exactly what we got. The cottage is in a perfect location to act as a hub to numerous activities within Enniskillen and the wider area. You also have some great walks right on your door step, such as Castle Archadale Estate. There were three adults, two young children and a dog in our party and the cottage was ideal for all. The adults could chill out with a glass of wine in front of a roaring fire, the children could amuse themselves playing in the park located in the green in front of the property, and the dog had free run of the large enclosed back garden and yard area. The cottage itself was in immaculate condition, well layed out and had everything you could possibly want or need- bar a hot tub! We would have no hesitation in hiring this cottage again and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a break in Enniskillen.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your excellent review and I am glad Archdale Cottage fulfilled your needs for your stay in Fermanagh's beautiful lakelands. Kind regards, Marie.

Stayed in Archdale Cottage for a holiday with extended family. Cottage was very spacious and will stocked with all needed for a family break - including an open fire. Bedroom downstairs which was ideal for parents with mobility problems and the property was spotless. Very large garden for the kids to play in and a park just across a small road. Excellent location for the Fermanagh lakes. I would definitely recommend.
