The Province of Munster region

You are surrounded by some of the best scenery in Ireland. Lahinch has a wonderfully huge beach at low tide and fantastic surfing - nearby Claughan has a swimming place off the rocks - great on a hot day when the water is heated by the warm rocks. The cliff walks are beautiful and exploring the Burren landscape with its old green (famine) roads makes this a walkers paradise. Beyond the Burren, Ballyvaughan, and Galway bay beckon. Galway City is an easy drive, and by going south through Kilrush, a ferry across the Shannon estuary allows you to visit the Kerry coast and beautiful Killarney. A ferry also goes from nearby Doolin to the Aran island of Inis Oirr and does boat trips under the cliffs of Moher.

Liscannor

Pictuaresque coastal village with small harbour used mainly by local fishermen. Excellent hotel with bar and restaurant , Vaughan's award winning restaurant has great seafood , Egans and McHughs pubs have regular music - you'll meet extremely friendly locals and happy tourists of many nationalities, which all makes for a very inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere. A small shop/petrol station at the entrance to our houses has basic supplies and a selection of wines

“Nice House Close to Everything”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2016

The house was as advertised and accommodates our group of 6 people. The house was equipped with all of the necessities and was located on a quiet cull-de-sac street. Our only issue was that we had trouble connecting to the wifi.
