Situated right at the heart of Lincoln itself on the cobbles of Steep Hill twice winner of Britain's best street award. Step out of Well Cottage and you are within walking distance of all the fantastic attractions that historic Lincoln has to offer with free secure parking.
Whether you are a business visitor, consultant, couple on a romantic break, or a family looking for a holiday jam packed with culture or wedding guests needing somewhere local to stay then Well Cottage is for you. You could be walkers or ramblers or cyclists, here for the Santa run the Lincoln cycle race, or the awesome Christmas market. Attending the University's open days, a graduation ceremony or just visiting the children at Uni!. The possibilities are endless.
Our cottage has the capacity to sleep 6/8 with two very well appointed double bedrooms and high quality additional fold down JayBee beds can be added to accommodate up to 6 people and in addition we have a double sofa bed . Included in the no hidden extras price you pay you will have unlimited access to all of our facilities, which include all the kitchen appliances, dish washer, washing machine, fridge, oven, grill, and microwave. Other electrical appliances may be added to suit requirement; sandwich grill, blenders, juicers. Whatever your culinary heart desires. There is seating for six guests both in the kitchen or when the weather is nice outside on the courtyard which has a BBQ. It also has complimentary Wifi so you can keep up with your e-mails!
Well Cottage has two sofas in the living room and a gas fire for those cozy nights. Relax and watch TV or a DVD or listen to some music over a glass of chilled wine. The Cottage has a Play Station for the "gamers". The kitchen has a dining table seating for 6 people, and also again for those warm cozy candlelight dinners you have a real fire place to enhance the mood of your dining experience. The rear door in the kitchen unfolds another adventure. With outdoor furniture suitable for seating 6 visitors have their own BBQ, chimnea and wall heater for cooler evenings. It's a typical English country walled garden - totally secure.

“Wow, wow, wow. What a beautiful cottage!”
If you are staying in Lincoln, you need to book here. Very central position, close to all shops and attractions. Free garage parking. Brilliant amenities, Jacuzzi bath, rain shower, open gas/coal fireplace, secure rear seating area, breakfast items provided and so much more. So very comfortable and amazingly clean throughout. Your every need is catered for. The hosts, Charles and Gillian were so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for providing such a stunning place to stay. We would recommend Well Cottage 100%. Please book here, you will not find a better place.

Well cottage is in the perfect position for visiting Lincoln, half way between cathedral area and bustling high street. Set in a quiet cobbled street, this charming cottage retains its character whilst offering high standard accommodation. It is furnished and fully equipped with quality items and personal touches that make it a very special place to stay. Just enjoyed a wonderfull week at Well Cottage with a friend. The location is superb. I awoke one morning to the chimes of the cathedral in such a comfy bed, the cottage is calm relaxed with modern facilicites and a lovely open gas fire. Charles was a fantastic host, from the welcome pack and advice throughout our stay to help us make the most of our holiday. Lincoln is a beautifull interesting city, and Well Cottage is a great home to visit it from.

“Fantastic place to stay.”
This cottage is so homely and a wonderful location to go anywhere in Lincoln. Charles the owner was so kind and helpful and left us enough coffee, teabags and sugar to last all weekend. The garage was great too. We went to the Lincoln Christmas Market and that was a great experience. We also saw the snow both there and when we got home. I would recommend this cosy cottage to anyone visiting Lincoln. I would give it a score of 10.

“Perfect little hideaway”
This was our first visit to Lincoln and we could not have found a better cottage. Situated as it is off Steep Hill it is in the perfect location to explore the Cathedral Quarter. The cottage is equipped and presented to the very highest standard many thoughtful touches meaning that you want for nothing. Finally I must also mention the warm and friendly welcome from Charles on our arrival, a perfect host!

“What a gem of a place”
WOW! Fantastic place to stay. From the moment we arrived Charles was there to help us to unload and show us to the secure parking just round the corner. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was so welcoming in every aspect and it seemed that every attention to detail was taken care of. We had such a wonderful stay and the cottage was so convenient to the Cathedral quarter and bailgate where you can shop, dine or just wander and take in the ambience of the place. The cottage is so well equipped to all needs apart from one little thing! If you're short it could do with a step stool to reach the top shelves in the kitchen but we were fortunate to have my very tall nephew to to the honours! We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you Charles for letting us stay in your wonderful cottage.

“Shhh. It's our secret!”
We really don't want to tell anyone how wonderful this lovely cottage is and we really don't want to share how perfect its location is to Steep Hill, the castle and cathedral. And we'd really like to keep the extra little touches that Charles and Gillian provided such as a bottle of fizz, provisions in the fridge and toiletries, a secret as we want to be able to return whenever we want. So please read this review but don't share it and should you check to see if the week or weekend you want to book is available, I'm sure you'll find it's booked already, by us!
