Description

This is a cottage converted by the holiday located in the mountains above the village of Liérganes and has the magnificent panoramic views. It has four bedrooms for eight people and can accommodate up to 12. There are two living rooms, a ground floor with a wood burning stove and another, each with a double sofa bed. A perfect place for tranquility, as well as walking, mountain biking, bird watching, routes in 4X4, or 25 minutes by car from the numerous beaches and Santander. It is rural house has panoramic views. A car is essential, because it is at the end of a mountain road that turns into an uneven track in the last 1.5 kilometers. The Last House is situated high in the mountains at the end of a winding road. This beautiful 'cottage' has been renovated to preserve the original 300 year old 'pasiego' style while providing high quality, eco-friendly living facilities. In the remote, unspoilt hills of Cantabria with magnificent, panoramic views, the house overlooks the village of Liérganes with the sea in the distance. It has it's own mountain spring water and solar panel. Sleeps up to 12 people with four bedrooms, one en suite, for eight people, two reception rooms with a double bed settee. The main reception room has a wood burning stove for cozy evenings. The kitchen and dining room are spacious and well supplied. There is a main bathroom and a downstairs toilet. Full gas central heating. The garden includes a large graveled area and our own surrounding fields. There are games for children: indoor board games and for playing outside there is table tennis, bats and balls, kite etc. The Ultimate House has it's own mountain spring water and solar panel providing a perfect place for tranquility and relaxation. The area offers plenty of things to do including walking, beaches, star watching, caves, skiing, mountain biking, off-roading, spa treatments, golf, surfing, bird watching, plus many other activities. The elegant city of Santander and the famous sandy beaches along the Costa Verde are only a short drive away. The house has four bedrooms for eight people and can sleep up to 12 people. You will need a good car or ideally to 4x4 and to be a driver as the house is located at 5km mountain road that becomes a track for the last 1.5km. The road has recently been repaired by the local council.
