Meadowbank Farmhouse is a remotely located farmhouse situated within the Oxfordshire Cotswolds providing very spacious self catering accommodation absolutely perfect for large groups or families. The property is surrounded by open countryside with enclosed garden areas for customer's use to the front and rear. Inside the property has large entertaining rooms, with an excellent kitchen/diner as well as two living rooms plus an extra kitchen. There are six large bedrooms, with one on the ground floor making it ideal for any members of the party with limited mobility. A very well maintained and attractive holiday property that is very well located many of the Oxford and Cotswolds attractions.

Kitchen/Diner, an enormous room with large dining table seating 10 comfortably. The kitchen has another dining table which can be moved and will therefore allow 16 people to seat comfortably together. Kitchen is well equipped with 6 ring gas range with double oven, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Great views too.

Boot Room / Pantry with separate access into the property.

Playroom / Games Room with sofa, flatscreen TV with DVD and Sky (basic). Assortment of games and pooltable (not full size but still geat fun!!)

Kitchen Two with further gas hob, oven, washing machine and fridge. There is a door to a small enclosed garden.

Bedroom One with double bed (4ft 6in) with wardrobe and chest of drawers

Bathroom One with shower, WC and washbasin.

Upstairs

Bedroom Two with super kingsize double bed (6ft) wardrobes, chest of drawers, plus Ensuite Bathroom, shower, WC and washbasin

Bedroom Three with kingsize double bed (5ft) wardrobe and chest of drawers

Bedroom Four with two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Family Bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and washbasin

Bedroom Five with two single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers with Ensuite WC and washbasin

Bedroom Six with king size double bed (5ft) chest of drawers and wardrobe plus sofa (bed) which can be used for a further two people*.

OUTSIDE

To the front of the property is a large grassed area surrounded by fencing, with bench and table and children's playhouse, slide, see-saw and mini trampoline. Swingball and badminton set for guests' use. To the rear of the property is an enclosed garden with patio and grassed area with large garden table and chairs, accessed directly from the kitchen / diner and BBQ.

Sorry No Pets. Children Welcome. Cot (not travel cot) & High Chair available. *Additional person(s) charged at £40 per person for the use of sofa bed and further 2 'Z beds', please confirm at booking if required. Wifi Included.

Please note that there is no longer a piano in the dining room!

Beyond Bampton and Witney, which has all the main amenities and supermarkets imaginable, there are many excellent tourist attractions within a short drive, including a host of National Trust gardens and houses (Kelmscott Manor is very close by) while Oxford, with its excellent selection of shops and restuarants, theatres and the world famous Colleges is no more than 20 mins drive.

For those looking to make the most of Cotswolds, Burford (described as the Gateway to the Cotswolds) is approx 5 miles away, with many other stunning villages within 30 mins drive including Bibury, Stown on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Lower and Upper Slaughter and The Swells to name a few.

Lew

Lew is a small, rural hamlet approx 3 miles to the south west of Witney, a small, bustling market town within the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. The nearest village is Bampton, which is approx 2 miles away which is a thriving village with a number of pubs and shops providing basic amenities. As befits a country location, there is much wildlife and birdlife to be seen!
