Apartment 2 is situated on the first floor (upstairs) in our Alpine apartment house. The area could not be more stunning, with the mountains providing a backdrop for any outdoor activity that takes your fancy. In Winter, skiing, cross-country skiing, walking, snow-shoeing and sledging are all available in the local area.

In summer you could walk, run, climb or mountain bike. If this all seems too much, then just relax in the wonderful Alpenbad swimming baths (free entry included in summer bookings) or enjoy our fantastic restaurants and alpine huts. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute walk but if you don't fancy it, then you could always snuggle up on the huge corner sofa and watch the smart TV.

Our cosy Scandinavian grill hut is available for use by all our guests. Let us know when you would like to reserve it or just use it whenever it's free.

Getting around

Like most country areas, you will have more flexibility with a car, especially with small children. That said, there are loads of lovely walks on the doorstep as well as a supermarket and restaurants. The buses are very reliable but not too frequent (e.g. to Seefeld: one every one-two hours). Bus travel around the plateau if free with your guest card.

Interaction with guest

We live in the same house and may well be thereto greet you personally. If we are going to be away, we'll let you know beforehand. If we are out when you arrive, we'll leave your key in the key safe. The apartment is upstairs on the left.

This was the second time staying in this apartment as we liked it so much the first time. The rooms are spacious and everything we needed was there. Emily is friendly and relaxed and willing to help. The wooden fire/grill hut is a great addition, whatever the weather. We have been to this area in both winter and summer and there is so much to see and do, espcially if you like nature and the outdoors. We walked, swam, cycled and explored this beautiful Alpine region. Definitely a place we will visit again!

“Happy stay”

My family and I stayed in the 2nd floor apartment for the best part of a fortnight in August 2018. The accommodation was excellent and very well equipped. The rooms are all a good size for a family of 4 and we never felt we were on top of each other. Emily and Stephen were excellent and helpful hosts and gave provided a great holiday home at a very reasonable price in a beautiful part of Austria. Very handy for Seefeld if you want to take a train to Germany or Innsbruck but try to find a cheap parking place if driving to the station. Parking prices in Seefeld can be Eye watering if you're out for the day. So, great accommodation, lovely location and thoroughly recommended.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Emily und Stephen (the owner) a message.

If Emily und Stephen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
