Can Benet is an attractive house in a peaceful, idyllic riverside location.It is set in 2 acres of secluded grounds with a natural swimming pool.The house is surrounded by stunning woodland and mountain scenery.The River Merles flows beside the property and has numerous picturesque waterfalls and large pools.

Can Benet is in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The grounds are peaceful and secluded with delightful views of the surrounding woodland and mountains. It is bordered by a stream on one side and by the River Merles, where there is a natural swimming pool in which you can swim or relax in the inflatable boats and rings. The river features many lovely waterfalls and large natural pools to swim in, many just a short walk from the house.

The house is rustic style, with a comfortable lounge, leather sofas and log burning stove, a dining room, a large well-equipped kitchen and a separate utility room. There is a second lounge upstairs and a balcony overlooking the mountains. There are four bedrooms with beds for eight people plus a travel cot.

The surrounding area is wonderful to explore by foot or by car. There are delightful villages, Romanesque churches, miles of well marked footpaths and numerous stunning views.

Can Benet is the perfect place to get away to a peaceful mountain environment and still enjoy all the comforts and modern conveniences of home. It is a paradise for children, with a safe river to swim in, dams to build, camps to make and woods to explore. It is a great place for adults too, with plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun, enjoy the scenery, a dip in the river, mountain walks on the doorstep and star gazing at night.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Christine (the owner) a message.

If Christine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
