Is comfortably furnished in a warm wood and quality fittings, parquet floor and boiserie, fully equipped for 4/5 people, with a spacious living room, open kitchen facing the terrace and private garden with access directly form the living room.

A dining table for 6 people and coach in face of a fire place, soft lights for a really comfortable atmosphere.

A magnificent views of the Aiguille du Midi, the Mount Blanc and the Dome du Gouter from the windows and the secluded garden, ideal for a relaxed stay.

Further details indoors

The apartment is furnished with laundry machine, dishwasher, TV, Video, DVD and Hi fi appliances, many accessory as mixer, microwave, electric oven, grill, barbecue.

On the down level 2 double bedrooms, closets, bathroom and toilet, and laundry area.

Linen and towels are supplied as extra service.

The south facing secluded garden has furniture to eat and relax outdoors and a closet for skis, bicycles, sledge and accessories for sports and leisure.

3 mountain bikes are available for the guests.

An other closet is available in the ski room outside. The car parking is in the private space just in front of the door.

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region

Chamonix is at the heart of Western Europe in the French Alps, at the bottom of Mont Blanc chain, where the French, Swiss and italian borders meet.

Chamonix is probably best known as the skiing and alpine capital of the world. As a destination it has a reputation for the extreme and this, whilst undoubtedly true, can mask a wide array of sporting and leisure activities (particularly in summer), peace and quiet, great night-life, and superb scenery that can be enjoyed at whichever pace suits you. Chamonix is the perfect place to come for a week's holiday, a season, or a lifetime, as you will never run out of things to do or tire of the views!

Chamonix , Le Tour and L' Argentiere, known for their large ski areas, and off-piste opportunities, are easily accessible by car or free ski bus, providing a huge variety of skiing possibilities, until may at an altitude of 3350 mt. The Aiguille du Midi is the higher point accessible by sky-cabin in Europe (3880 mt) and is the departure for a lot of exciting and adventures tours, like la Mer de Glace, 11 km. of run from the top (only for good skiers).

From there you can also cross the Mont Blanc with an aerel cabins, flying to the top of the chain and arriving in Courmayeur, Italy. In Les Houches for the children you can found a lot of ski schools, amazing Adventures Park, Ice skating and Hockey stadium, Cinema and Theatre at Espace Olca and a nurses assistance for the babies.

The Chamonix valley is rightly famous world-wide as the home of Alpinism and is the right location for keen skier and climber, with 5 separate ski areas in the valley, including the legendary 14km descent of the Vallee Blanche. There is a host of other activities available in the area. In the winter, these include snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, paragliding and ice-climbing.

In the summer, climbing, walking and cycling take over as the main activities as well as rafting and canyoning, but there is plenty for the less adventurous to enjoy, with a spectacular golf course, tennis courts and swimming pools to lie getting a nice mountain tan.

Les Houches

Amenities within 2 minutes' walk of the apartment include a supermarket ,several good restaurants, ski hire shops, ski school office, patisserie which serves fresh croissants and bread. The pharmacies and a medical cabinet is 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Tourist information office and church are approximately 12 minutes level walk, close to the ski cabin of Prarion and Bellevue.

The bus stop, just in front of the chalet, give the possibility to go in 5 minutes to the ski cabins, or in 15 minutes to get the centre of Chamonix, every half our.

Les Houches has its own beautiful ski area, and the runs are crossing beautiful pine trees forest , uncrowded slopes and stunning scenery. The skiing is suitable for all abilities but it's also the location for the men's world cup downhill run, the famous 'Kandahar ' race that takes place each January.

From the top of the Prarion you can take the Snow Train and joint Saint Gervais les Bains, beautiful ancient village with the famous Spa (Thermes) of the area, and a little far away, Megeve, one of the most elegant and interesting ski location in France. In Les Houches for the children you can found a lot of ski schools, amazing Adventures Park, Ice skating and Hockey stadium, Cinema and Theatre at Espace Olca and a nurses assistance for the babies.
Local place close to Les Houches nice to visit include the cascade of the Dard at the entrance of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, the Crist Roi statue, the Merlet Park Animalier , the Bosson Glacier, the Montenvers Snow Train, the Aiguille du Midi Ski Cabin.

A little far away you can see the prehistoric site of Emosson, the Spa in the Villages of Saint Gervais Les Bains and Evian les Thermes on the Geneva Lake, Morzine Avoriaz, the pedestrian village for skiers, Megeve, elegant winter city, Annecy Lake, and in Italy the Roman city of Aosta.
