The bus passes the front entrance to the appartment every 10 minutes. Les Carroz operates a one way system therefore allow 10 mins to base of telecabine and 3 minutes to return.
Les Carroz is the ideal family resort and with Claudes situated in the centre,next to the ice rink and 10 yards from shop & ski bus .There is baby sitting service and children's club . Les Carroz holds the "Les petite Montagnards" label for its superb children's facilities. During high season there are different activities in the town square for all ages.
CLAUDES is a 4th floor apartment (lift) within a traditional Savoyard chalet with a south/west balcony overlooking forest. and the Mont Blanc mountain range. It is on the edge of the village with the ice rink, outdoor centre,shops and town square 1 minute walk. Les Carroz is both a winter and summer resort offering a wide range of outdoor activities.
For those wishing a more relaxing holiday there are many street cafes, concerts and escorted / unescorted alpine flower walks.

The sejour-cuisine comprises a well equipped kitchen; dining table and 5 chairs; futon double bed which during the day serves as a sofa seating 3/4 people; tallboy; toy chest and book case TV..
The lobby containing a shoe chest and coat stand allows additional space for changing outdoor clothes and footware. The lobby is shared with our neighbours - our half is to the right and theirs to the left.

The Grand Massif region
The Grand Massif region in the Haute Savoie is the lesser known and the least developed. The villages have maintained the old charm of the Savoyard alpine way of life, where the chalets are adorned with colourful window boxes and church bells echo across the valleys. It always amazes me how quickly the mountains burst with wild flowers so soon after the snow has melted. It is a paradise for the wild flower enthusiast, artist and walker. The air is very clear and the afternoon sun can be very strong high in the mountains with a temperature drop by early evening. However, our balcony in Les Carroz is sheltered by the mountains and is normally warm enough for all meals to be eaten outside.
The old town square forms the centre of Les Carroz d'Araches which is lined with pavement cafe bars, small shops and restaurants. Nothing is too far away and a car is not essential as most items can be purchased locally. There are several ski / mountainerring hire shops as well as VTT cycle centres.The centre "Montagne Activites" - Hte Montagne, Escalade, Canyoning, Via Ferrata is located in the square. We have a cinema and three churches of which two are twelfth-century.
Lying at 1140-2500m the town offers one of the longest winter ski seasons in the Alpes. Les Carroz d'Araches Flaine, Sameons, Sixt and Morillon telecabine system allows extensive coverage of the Grand Massif region (265km) for the VTT cyclist, walker or skier.

The apartment is a great location. Within a two minute walk to the centre of the village giving easy access to bars, restaurants and shops. The ski bus stop is 20 metres away and the buses run every 10 minutes. The apartment itself is well equipped, better than most we have stayed in, and very comfortable. Having use of a lift and underground car parking is an added bonus. We had a very enjoyable stay.

"A Hidden Gem In Les Carroz"
A wonderful apartment, coupled with near perfect snow conditions, made for a lovely holiday. Apartment facilities are superb, with almost anything you can think of needing, hidden in the cupboards. superb location in the town with easy access to the ski bus. Will certainly book again, would recommend to anyone. Stayed January 2013

"GREAT FOR ALL SEASONS"
I have stayed in this apartment twice in winter and once in summer. It has everything one needs but in addition has a superb view, the ski bus stops just outside, shops and the winter skating rink are just around the corner, so hot croissants take less than 5 mins to collect. In summer we were amazed at how much was going on. We went for a stage of the Tour de France at Les Gets, easily accessible by car, but there were superb guided mountain walks and some form of entertainment in the main square each evening. THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED

"Great, comfortable apartment in the heart of Les Carroz"
I stayed with my two teenage kids for a week at Clauds 20B. It is an excellently situated property close to the centre of the village, the ice rink and, of course, the slopes themselves. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time, the apartment is well stocked and comfortable, warm and inviting. As it is on the top floor it is very quiet, and there is an elevator for tired legs. There is a large ski boot room adjacent which provides plenty of storage. I look forward to staying at Clauds 20B again next year.
