Each of the five en-suite bedrooms invites you to relax and unwind, with lavish bed throws, neutral fabrics and fluffy bathrobes and towels to give a fresh and warm feel. All equipped with plasma screens, DVDs and Bose iPod stations.

The chalet comes with a private chef, hostess and driver, daily housekeeping and a chalet manager to ensure everything goes smoothly and to oversee all aspects of your stay while in resort. Our guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast, afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes and biscuits, and a sumptuous four course evening meal. A champagne and canapé reception on your first evening lets you meet the team and run through any questions you have about the chalet or your stay in Chamonix.

Eating and drinking are two of the most important elements of your holiday with us, we take it very seriously! Each of our chefs has numerous seasons under their belt, many of them spent in Chamonix with us! They will be in contact with you well in advance of your stay to run through any likes or dislikes, any specific dietary issues and catering requirements around children.

Location description from owner

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region

Chamonix has one of the shortest transfer times of any of the 'big name' ski resorts in the French Alps (just one hour from Geneva), making it a smart choice for keen weekend skiers short on time. It also has a superb selection of Hotels and Luxury Ski Chalets in Chamonix .

Wisely chosen as the resort to host the very first Winter Olympics in 1924, Chamonix is the spiritual home to many hardcore skiers and mountaineers. Aside from the must do descent of the Vallee Blanche, there are limitless opportunities to explore the finest off piste that Europe has to offer. We strongly recommend the services of a local guide to maximize any visit involving off piste skiing or ski touring. Less experienced skiers are also well catered for at Le Brevent, La Flegere, Le Tour and Grand Montets.

For many, the spell bounding views of the Aguille du Midi, Mont Blanc and Glacier des Bossons are enough to justify the trip to this resort. The lively historic town of “Cham” has plenty to offer the non-skier. Chamonix has an up-market cosmopolitan ambience on the surface led by the Barrière Casino surrounded by smart boutiques and fine dining. In reality, the sprawling town has a far more relaxed vibe with regular live music played in buzzing bars and laid back eateries. Family friendly Les Houches is the perfect place to introduce children to the high mountains, just a 5 minute drive from Chalet Amazon Creek.

Les Bossons

Chamonix has so much to offer families in the summer months. There is plenty of fun and adventures to be had by children and little ones too in Chamonix, from rock climbing and mountain biking, to supervised arts and crafts sessions. Activities can be arranged with our partners, Prestige Outdoors, who provide anything from hiking and rock-climbing to white-water rafting and canyoning, to ensure your holiday will be full of exciting adventures.

There are many walks of differing levels, distances and heights, in the Chamonix valley. Many walks do not require a guide. For example, by Chalet Amazon Creek head up the path to the observation deck that overlooks the Les Bossons Glacier. It takes about 45 to 50 minutes to walk up through the forest, is well marked and during the summer there is a café at the top!

If you would like your children to head off on supervised activities for a day or two, 'Cham-Adventure' run activity days suitable for children aged between 3 years and 13 years. They are split into different age groups and activities include hiking, mountain biking, treasure hunts, rock climbing, rafting, donkey rides and an adventure tree park! All activities are supervised by qualified mountain professionals.

A beach in the mountains? Head down to Lac de Passy for a bit of sunbathing on the beach and swimming in the beautiful, cooling still waters of the lake. Just 25 minutes down the valley by car, Lac de Passy is a lovely spot for swimming, bathing and walking. Take a picnic or bbq or there are several snack cafes. Other activities near the lake include quad bikes, mini golf and go-karting.

The 18 hole golf course at Chamonix was designed by the world famous Robert Trent Jones Senior and is set between the Mont-Blanc range and the massif of the Aiguilles rouges. It is widely considered to be one of the leading Alpine golf courses. Private lessons can be arranged through Prestige.
