“Great wee holiday!”

Reviewed 19 Oct 2013

We stayed here in October school holiday and had a great wee holiday. The caravan was perfect for us with our 2 kids and 2 grannies. The sun shone for first 2 days and we were even sitting outside on the deck sunbathing - a little suntrap. The caravan had everything we needed and was cosy and clean. We couldn't get live TV but the boys loved the Playstation as they don't have one at home and I enjoyed not having telly on all the time. Perfect location for walks on beach - our boys did fishing and played in the large garden with their ball. Close to Girvan for supplies if you want to drive in there.

Actually live TV is available via your laptop, as described in the advert, and using the web addresses provided in the joining instructions. :-)

“Great Little Place”

Reviewed 17 Oct 2013

My friends and I loved our stay here. This place is literally like 20 metres from the sea if you fancy a swim, which is pretty clear of rocks and things once you get into the water. If you are lucky, like we were, you might be able to see the seals in the sea. We also went for a walk up the hill which looked amazing once you got to the top. Locally, the place is supposed to be good for fishing although we did not catch anything (We were beginners). The views were also amazing in the caravan as you can see Ailsa Craig right from your front window. The caravan its-self is comfortable and comes with everything you need for your stay. If something is not quite right, the owner, Donald will be on the phone to aid you through pretty much anything.

“GREAT STAY IN A GREAT LOCATION”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2013

We had a great weeks stay at Roqueburne, Lendalfoot .The caravan is in a prime position for fabulous views over Ailsa Craig. The sunsets were amazing. Opposite the caravan is a lovely little beach with rock pools (enjoyed by the grandchildren and the adults). The caravan was spacious and well equipped and although a few years old was well cared for and very clean. It had a huge balcony with table and chairs to sit and enjoy the views and watch the seals. The only downside for some maybe, the traffic noise on the road between the property and the beach, although it didn't worry us. The surrounding area has lots to offer for all ages and we will certainly return. The owner, Donald, was very friendly and extremely helpful. The caravan had free Wi-Fi and internet access and was set in a private garden which had lots of space for ball games etc. .
