Location description from owner

The England region

There's so much to do, see and explore while on holiday in Cornwall.

With the longest stretch of contiguous coastline in Britain, you’ll discover tiny Cornish fishing villages, smugglers coves, countless spectacular beaches and sweeping bays, dramatic cliffs and coastline, plus beautiful moorland and countryside and great quality local produce to taste.

Lelant

St Ives, the most famous of Cornish holiday towns, loved for generations, is easy to reach by road or by air and easy by train, too, along one of the most spectacular railway journeys in Britain to crystal blue waters, golden sands and a warm welcome. We nearly forgot the mild sub-tropical climate, warmed year round by the Gulf Stream!

Life here is cradled around the harbour where boats still land good catches of freshest fish for the local restaurants to nourish you with.

Brought ashore on the ancient granite quays, the catch is of the highest quality for your dinner plate or for the tables of some of Britain's finest restaurants. A maze of tiny cobbled streets to wander through, lined by fishermen's cottages, with a breathtaking seaside vista to greet you at the end of each one.

Lovely house, beautiful spot. Great for kids, in our group ages went from 7 to 13. We ate on the beach, went beachcombing, walking and kite flying. Decent pub close by in Lelant if you don't want to cook. Galley kitchen in the house perfectly adequate, we cooked for 10 people easily. Great base for the area, we love it here, we're coming back for the third time.

Thank you for a wonderful review! We work hard to ensure that our guests have a great holiday and appreciate it when we receive thanks for our efforts. We love it when guests return and have a number who once they have been can't resist returning. We again make the effort for our returning guests so they know they too are very much appreciated! Thank you
