“FABULOUS APARTMENT, WOULD USE AGAIN AND AGAIN”

Booked this apartment and what a wee find it was! From the intial booking, communication was excellent, clear instructions given for entry and departure etc. We travelled with 2 young children (aged 6 & 1) and this was far better for us as a family than having a hotel room. The apartment is very modern, exactly how you see it in the photos, spotlessly clean, plenty towels etc providied and a lovely breakfast items there for you on arrival. I cannot recommend this apartment enough. The location is great, easy to find, close to city centre, easy bus routes, places to eat/takeaways close by and nice and quiet at night time. We will definetly be using again when we visit Edinburgh, I wouldn't even bother looking else where now.

We were a party of 5, ourselves, our 15 year old daughter, and my parents. The apartment was immaculately clean, bright and contemporary. Our rooms were very comfortable, and our daughter had a put-up bed in our room, which worked well. We got very confident with the buses, which were almost on the doorstep, running about every 15 minutes. These took you directly to the city centre. There is a big 24 hour Asda, a 10 mijn walk away, which was useful. We also went to Loch Fyne, Prezzo, and a great Thai, down by the waters edge, about 10 minutes walk away. All were great, in a wonderful location. The apartment served us all, of various ages.My father who cannot walk too far easily, found he loved the bus service, and enjoyed escaping the bustle of the city, at the end of the day, and sit with a whisky looking out towards Britannia! I also want to say what excellent correspondence we had with Michael, who owns the apartment. He was extremely helpful, and would answer any queries before arriving immediately. We had an absolutely fantastic week in Edinburgh, which we couldn't fault.

My family (mom, dad and little brother) along with my husband and our 8 month old stayed at this amazing flat. It was a great location in Edinburgh...outside the busy city center but just a 15 min bus ride away. The Royal Yacht Britannia was just outside our window. An ASDA (wal-mart type store) was just around the corner if you needed something. When we arrived we were greeted and given information about what there was to see and do. Also they had a fully equipped kitchen with complimentary milk, cereal, toast, tea and coffee. The beds were comfy and everything was very clean. I would recommend this flat to everyone!!!

A great stay in this very nice flat. We loved the location, a superb base to explore the city, in a quiet and safe part of Edinburgh. Thanks to Michael Tips, we changed of restaurants every night, within 10 minutes of the flat. I personnaly very enjoyed the Peacok, next to a tiny lovely harbour and a mix of pub and restaurant called the old chain peir , overviewing the ocean. Princes street is easily reachable by bus and it was nice to escape the noises , souvenir shops of this busy ara. The flat is welcoming and you forget this is a holiday rental. Plenty of space with a huge living room, 2 nice bathrooms, sense of details, luxury bed linen,... The view from the flat is unique : the sea, the Britania. You have to visit the Britania, a must see of Edinburgh, next to Ocean Terminal shopping mall, within 15 minutes walk. We travel a lot and that's our best experience so far.

This is a wonderful apartment on the fifth floor of a waterside development with views across to the Royal Yacht. Everything you could need is provided and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Secure underground parking is most welcome as there is a bus stop right outside that takes you into Edinburgh. Very clean and comfortable throughout and very quiet.

Beautiful! A self-catering apartment with the looks of a boutique hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our three-day stay at the Waterfront Apartment. It is spacious, bright, comfortable and tastefully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is functional and equipped with modern appliances. We traveled with young children and they were happy with the amount of space available, as well as the toys that were provided. They could also run safely on the path that follows the shoreline and that can be accessed from behind the building. It was surprisingly easy to get to the city center by bus (line 10) as the stop is steps away from the building. Within walking distance is a huge supermarket (Asda, 10 mins) and Ocean Terminal (20 mins). A taxi to the airport for 6 people including luggage cost us £24. The rental was made easy, using PayPal, and the owner was friendly and helpful. On a final note, we loved the welcome package (bread, jam, tea, milk, cereal)!! Definitely recommended!

We stayed in this fabulous apartment for just 2 nights but I wish it could have been for longer. The location at Western Harbour was perfect for us - a little out of the city centre but close enough for convenience. We used the bus service which ran efficiently every 10/15 mins into town. Unfortunately it wasn't quite so easy to find our bus back as Edinburgh city centre was being dug up in order to install tram lines everywhere so bus stops had moved. We eventually realised that if we made our way to Princes St, we would find our bus stop. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and all communication with the owner, Michael, was exemplary. He was so helpful and the welcome breakfast basket was perfect. A perfect short stay.
