Description

Spacious historic farmhouse apartment with charming original features and beams with all you could want for a relaxing break. Totally self contained and private. Excellent central Shropshire location so a huge choice of places to visit whatever your likes. Some excellent sensibly priced country pubs and restaurants are within walking distance and Shrewsbury is just 15 minutes away by car. We have just installed super fast fibre wi-fi broadband (Feb 2019) as our previous copper wire connection has at last been modernised so 17th century charm with 21st century connections for those wishing to work or remain in touch.

“Beautiful apartment over historic farmhouse”

Beautiful location in the countryside just down the road from the river Tern. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with many original beams. Very nicely furnished with a most comfortable bed, and well equipped kitchen. The surrounding countryside can be seen from all the windows, and the kitchen looks out onto a tree full of birds! (Bird book on the windowsill for identification purposes!) Lawrence and Ruth were contactable if needed, and very friendly and helpful. A lovely base for a Shropshire holiday, and near enough to larger roads if you would like to go further. We would definitely recommend!

“Charming and cosy self-sufficient apartment in beautiful surroundings”

The apartment was gorgeous, very historic and beautifully decorated, private and with everything we needed with a kitchenette area, TV and living room and spacious bedroom. Lawrence the owner was friendly and welcoming and offered to answer any queries at any time, offering recommendations for food and pubs nearby. It was the perfect setting to explore the area - going for walks up the Wrekin or going to Ironbridge or the Wroxeter Roman city. We loved it and want to come back!

“Beautiful cosy retreat”

Between the beautiful town of Shrewsbury and the interesting area where the Industrial Revolution began. Some lovely places to eat an so much to do - a week was not long enough.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Lawrence (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
