“Excellent Beautiful Villa”

Reviewed 29 Mar 2016

I Loved how the Villa was private. We had our own pool. Very clean and tidy all the time. The staff is just wonderful, very friendly and helpful all the time. Its a nice Villa to share with family, friends, or even just a couples trip. I enjoyed the way we had our own pool and that we didn't have to share with everyone. I cant wait for our next trip in Bali, will be booking this Arkarma Villa again. I recommend this Villa for everybody :D

Thank You so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure having you stay at Akarma Villa and we cant wait for you to come back again. Staff And Management. Akarma Villa Bali

“Definitely staying at Akarma Villa again!”

Reviewed 28 Mar 2016

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Akarma Villa. The pool was always a lovely temperature and it was such a novelty to open your bedroom doors and have it right there to jump into! Courtyard and pool area: a superb entertainment zone to sit around with friends and have some drinks or to simply relax on the day chairs under the shady frangipani tree. Plenty of room for the 5 of us in the kitchen/dining area. The bedrooms are very spacious, and the air conditioning works lovely. One of the drawers in my room was reluctant to shut with ease, although I see this as only a minor problem. Joko and Rudy were fantastic staff whom promptly provided everything we needed. They were both very trustworthy and Rudy’s good English and knowledge of Bali and all its activities made the jam packed trip extremely enjoyable. It felt safe with the nice high walls and lockable doors. Joko was always there to unlock the front door for us when returning from a day out, which was a nice reassurance for me, as it was my first time in Bali. I liked the location of the villa it didn’t seem to far from all the things we needed. Thank you very much Carolyn, Rudy and Joko for a lovely stay at Akarma Villa!

Thankyou for the great review and we are so happy you enjoyed your first trip to Bali. We really look forward to having you back again. Staff and Management Akarma Villa Bali

“Superb!”

Reviewed 12 Jan 2016

I stayed at Akarma Villa Bali mid last year on my first ever trip to Bali and from the moment we touched down and were collected from the airport by the Villa Manager, Rudi, the experience was second to none! Rudi was bright, bubbly and super friendly and could tell you everything about Bali there is to know! The Villa itself was very clean and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and each room has its own bathroom which is definitely a plus when staying with friends. The private pool was great to come home to at anytime of the day or night. Joko "Villa Security" is also one of the friendliest guys I've met and did an awesome job taking care of us and the villa, nothing is too big or small for Joko! We had Rudi arrange some drivers for us during our 12 night stay and they were all really great guys with a overwhelming knowledge of Bali and the activities around the island. Booking the stay with Carolyn was also super quick and easy! I would, and always have recommended Akarma Villa Bali to everyone I know, you won't be disappointed!

Wow - thank you so much for your extensive review. We loved having you stay at the villa and were thrilled to make your first time trip to Bali such an enjoyable experience. We are looking forward to your return trip. Staff and Management Akarma Villa Bali

“Awesome set up and location, Helpful staff”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2016

Stayed here with my girlfriend last year and had an awesome time. There were 3 large rooms with massive, super comfortable beds and a pool in the center of the rooms/courtyard. There's a really good kitchen and nice lounge plus the cleaner and driver were extremely helpful. Really good value and in a great location in Legian. I'd say that this would be the ideal place to stay if travelling with a few other couples or just a group of people looking to make the most out of a Bali trip. I've had a load of mates stay here since my last visit on my recommendation that have had equally awesome experiences.

We are looking forward to your return one day. Must be time you had another holiday! Thank you for your kind review. Staff and Management Akarma Villa Bali

“Great Villa at a reasonable price”

Reviewed 7 Sep 2015

This villa was clean, bright, well furnished and had all the amenities promised when we booked. The staff were absolutely delightful and respectful of our needs. They were not pushy but were always available if we needed any assistance. The villa itself is a bit out of the way but since I've been to Bali many times, the change from the hussle and bussle of Legian was welcomed. You will need to walk to the end of the street to get a taxi or you can stroll for about 5-10 minutes to get to Legian Road - we had no problems doing either of these things. There are lots of local places to eat nearby which are extremely cheap. Also, there is a very interesting local night market not too far from the villa which is worth a wonder around. The pool was sensational, albeit a little deep, if you have small children that don't swim - you'd need to keep a very close eye on them as the pool is about 5ft at its shallowest point. However, the temperature of the pool was perfect - cool enough to be refreshing in the hot afternoon but not so cold to be uncomfortable. The villa and pool were cleaned daily and the TV and DVD worked without a hitch - even with dubious dvds that we bought whilst we were there! The A/C in the bedrooms were a welcome relief overnight. I would recommend this villa to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to stay in Bali - but it is a place that is also close enough to enjoy all the activity of Bali as well. Just a gentle warning though - the local rooster (somewhere over the road) doesn't know if its day or night and he crows a lot! However, we enjoyed this bit of rural life....I would go back in a heart beat.

Thank you for your lovely review, it is appreciated. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to have you back again - maybe serve you some complimentary chicken satay :) :).

“countryside scene within a hop to city excitment”

Quiet street just out from Jalan Legian. Hearing the roosters chockadoodle, the frogs croaking, the silence, one would feel you are up in the mountains. Modern villa with a home feeling. Joint lounge/kitchen, central pool and large rooms with ensuite. Manager on site and caretaker both quick to help, answer your questions or run down and grab an authentic Balinese meal. This was my first time in a villa (my 5th trip) and I was happy with my choice, to feel relaxed in your own space after enjoying days out shopping, trekking, sightseeing etc which can be quite fast paced in Bali, its nice to get home and be around a peaceful ambience. Dine in with a meal from the nearby café (great food all day) or get Jokko to grab you takeaway, nothing is too much to ask. Manager Rudy speaks very good English and knows all the great places to see and can even take you there as your driver. All up Akarma Villa Bali can do it all for you and your friends or family. Enjoy I did.

It was a pleasure to have you stay with us and we look forward to many more times on your future trips to Bali. Staff and Management Akarma Villa Bali

“Awesome ! Couldn't be happier.”

Akarma villa was very spacious and clean. It was perfect for the six of us who stayed there, with three big bedrooms and ensuites off each. We all had our own space, but loved the central courtyard and the pool !! The villa was cleaned daily, and all of the staff were super friendly, accommodating, helpful and trustworthy. The villa is located in a quiet area which is also only a few minutes to kuta. I definitely recommend Akarma villa !

“Beautiful, charming in a great location”

Reviewed 22 Mar 2015

3 of us stayed at Akarma Villa for two weeks in March 2015. As soon as we walked in we loved the beauty of the villa, from the lovely traditional front gate to the open kitchen, which opens out into the pool area with 2 bedrooms along side and the main bedroom past the pool. The courtyard/pool area is amazing with the big tree in the middle and lovely gardens and outdoor shower. The staff (Joko and Rudy) are fantastic with nothing being a problem at all. Everything is quite close (we walked to 66 Beach a few times in under 15 mins) you can find taxis anywhere. There is also a lovely Warung (Cahaya) a walk up the road which has amazing cheap food. We would like to thank Carolyn and the boys Joko and Rudy for a fantastic stay.

Very appreciative of your review and thank you for staying with us. We look forward to seeing you again on your next trip, it was great having you. Staff and Management Akarma Villa Bali

“Definately will be coming back here!! Amazing!”

Reviewed 4 Mar 2015

Where the villa is isnt really that far from everything at all just walking distance. The staff here are amazing and really tend to your needs and look after you. The feeling of safeness here from the self contained villa with really high walls and locked doors makes it feel like a second home away from home. The whole feeling of the villa is amazing I definately will choose the Villa again over other hotels i have stayed at in bali.

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and felt so comfortable at the villa. Thank you for your review and we look forward to having you stay again on your next trip to Bali. Staff and Management Akarma Villa Bali

“Everything is covered :D”

It was my first trip to bali and I was travelling alone. The staff at Akarma made sure I was welcomed and gave me a ride anywhere and everywhere I wanted to go, they took me out the first night I was there made sure I ate and had a beer, they were helpful in showing me the real Bali so that was awesome. The Villa itself was well presented and tidy, I had access to Coffee and Tea as well as Wifi. The Pool was sensational and I felt completely at ease knowing the staff were so close by. I will definitely be going back to Akarma Villa!

Thankyou for your kind words - We are pleased that your first trip to Bali was enjoyable and look forward to having you back again. Akarma Villa Bali Staff and Management
