A dream holiday cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way
Formerly part of the Delphi estate, this deceptively large rental property is a reconstruction and extension of two 19th century cottages, merged into one home of great character.
There are no other buildings in sight.
Clad in local stone, roofed with traditional Welsh slates and fully insulated to modern standards, Waterfall Cottage has all the charm of a period property with all the benefits of modern reconstruction.
The cottage sleeps eight people in great comfort and an extra two bunk beds can be added on request.
There are four principal bedrooms (three with one large bed and one with twin single beds), plus an optional extra bunk room. There are three ultra-modern bathrooms (2017), one en-suite with the master bedroom. Two have large showers and one has a tub with shower.

There’s a modern, well-equipped kitchen and a large day room with satellite TV, wi-fi, an eclectic library and a DVD player. The piece de resistance is the spectacular 440 sq. ft. lower level River Room with its terrace right beside the river, offering amazing views over the water to the wild scenery beyond.
The cottage has oil-fired underfloor heating and a large wood-burning stove.

Just 400 yards from Delphi Lodge, Ireland's most famous fishing lodge, with fly-fishing for salmon and sea trout, and just an 8-minute walk from the popular Delphi Adventure Resort and Spa.
Surrounded by the highest mountains in the west of Ireland, there is great hiking.
With gorgeous sandy beaches nearby, there are great beach walks, surfing, horse-riding and, for the hardy, swimming in the sea.
Golf at Westport, scuba diving and sea fishing are all avaiable in the area.
There are lovely scenic drives in all directions. This is one of the most unspoilt and beautiful regions in Europe.
