Description

Colourmill Cottage is situated on the edge of the Peak District. The cottage is a lovely retreat with stone floors, handmade wooden doors, open fire and woodburning stoves. Three good size bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a jacuzzi bath and speakers in the ceiling to relax to music! Good quality furniture and furnishings make it very comfortable to stay in. Kitchen well equipped with quality appliances as well as oil 'aga' style cooker. Dining room is a great entertaining space with open fire and herringbone wood floor and is stunning.

“Beautiful, warm and relaxing.”

We booked one day and arrived the next with ease. Finding this beautiful cottage at the last minute was a real treat for us. It’s obviously well-loved, beautifully cared for and the owner is helpful and welcoming (even to our noisy excited little dogs) simply excellent! (The photos don’t show how big it actually is as it’s lovely and spacious)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Eleanor (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
